BUT, as I watched her slide her hooks into Cheap RV Living in January 2017 at the RTR (and I was there to see it myself in Quartzite, Arizona), she will play the game to get attention or whatever she wants out of whomever she might be able to. She is a marketing genius and a UC Berkley graduate, after all. She reminds us of it all the time. LOL.

@@enriquelaroche5370 But there is one problem... It's still a high altitude desert and there is no water. That's why the land is so cheap.

You need to drill a well, install water tanks, buy water or a gym membership for washing. Read "Cheap Land Colorado" by Ted Conover. It's set in the Alamosa, CO area. People routinely freeze or abandon their homesteads. The land is cheap because there is no infrastructure. One of the reasons that lots are so small in the desert is to make water, power/gas and sewer/septic cost less to provide.

I pay $1116 per month for a two-bedroom apartment in southern Nevada. If I wanted to stay at an RV park in my town, it would be about $650 per month. Take the investment in a reasonably reliable RV into account, and it's cheaper to rent. Mobile homes, long held out as affordable options, will routinely have $300 to $600 per month in "lot rent" charged by the RV park. Much of the value of a mobile home in places like Yuma, AZ comes from owning the land under the mobile home, and avoiding or reducing the lot rent. You will still have to pay property tax on the mobile home and land. Add to that the fact that the free parking away from BLM land has largely dried up, though enforcement of parking regulations can be spotty, and the "nomads" don't have a choice other than to settle down if they can't afford the parking tickets. I still laugh at the gate that is three panels of metal piping thick that has been put in front of the former "dry parking" area at the Avi Casino in Laughlin, NV, or the proliferation of "NO OVERNIGHT PARKING" signs at the Riverside Casino in Laughlin. Both places were quite RV-friendly before COVID-19, but now, like Bluewater Casino in Parker, they want RVers and vandwellers to use their RV parks. When the next recession comes, the circumstances that allowed "Cheap RV Living" to exist won't be available. Consumer debt is also up, so people are going to be stuck.

I am way to lazy to "stalk". I would have to bill her $300 an hour plus expenses to follow her around. LOL. But it would be hilarious to run into her at a grocery store while she does a "fake vegan" grocery run. LOL.
