There are lots of good videos on cashew plants, but most are a mix of English and Hindi. Thank you so much thus for posting one in English. It is very helpful for non-Hindi speakers like me. Btw, may I please ask at what age the cashew tree will start to bear fruit and does it need pruning? Thank you.

Cashew will bear fruits in 2.5 - 4 years. It requires annual pruning and trimming to maintain canopy shape and to tap higher amount of solar energy.

Thanks. My cashew plant ( 6 months old) is planted in soil. Its new leaves are not coming. Leaf bud is visible but it's not growing to new leaf for many days. Please advise what's the solution for this. I gave fertilizer like cowdung compost, neemcake, rock phosphate etc....

It is due to sucking insect pest..So spray Thiamethoxam 25WG 0.5 gram/liter of water.
