Celestion Alnico Cream loaded Zilla cabs Mini Stack 1x12

Sounds really sweet, especially great playing here! The Alnico cream just delivers, very big sounding for a 112 stack. Also love the western tolex!

Do like a mini stack, lovely sweet sounding speakers with a good full sound from those cabs.

Besides a ported 15 inch cab, these are what I have my heart set on. I am not sure my neighbours would like them as much though.

I've got two marshall 1912s They sound horrible all plummy And Chong I like Chang and ching You have Chang and ching, that marshall sounds heavenly

What OD was used on the opening and the ending passage, or was that just the amp?Sweet sounding rig.

I'd make two changes to this set-up: #1. Use 2x12s instead 1x12s. I always thought that the larger Marshall 1960TVA cab cut in half laterally between the two upper and lower speakers would be great as a mini-stack (front port the bottom cab /Thiel/ and partially open-back /oval/ the top cab). #2. Replace the Marshall head with a Hiwatt. But, that's just my personal preferences. And I agree with you, the Celestion alnico Cream is their best speaker by far. The higher wattage handling prevents excessive 'fizz' and the alnico adds a 3D quality to the tones and textures it produces. I just wish it had the lower reach of the H30-55hz. This is why having a speaker company like Weber who will custom make exactly what you want is really the way to go for me. No matter what flavor (Fane Crescendo, EVM 12L, Celestion) I want, I can get it in alnico, 16ohms and 100 watts, and at the same price as this Celestion.
