Been too long gone, worked a little more than I wanted to this summer. Have to schedule differently for next year. Aside from that, just a quick update on the usual!
Here's a toast to your 'sticktoitivness' and I hope you find a building and land that suits all your needs. Cheers! No worries on being somewhat 'regular' here on RU-vid, I think your subscribers ( like me ) will be here when you upload again. Best wishes for continued success.
Good to see you again. I hope you find the perfect place, you richly deserve it. Still waiting for that video of you eating a bowl of corn flakes, it would be much better than no video at all. Art
I know what you mean brother I worked out of one of those portable garage for years. I finally got myself a new workshop I will be doing a shop tour shortly! Tom from Boneyard garage
Jake, I can tell you most of all my real-estate deals came about during the winter. You are correct, if it is meant to be it will be. Good luck fella too. VF
man so glad to hear your business is going great, about the out bid on the property that seems to be the same everywhere, here in Nova Scotia houses are going for as much as 80,000.00 over asking price so frustrating. but you will find something and when you do it will be just what you need, best of luck.
Thanks Steve. Wow, I thought it was only here in the US where the crazy bidding was happening. Ridiculous that people are tossing that much extra money around. Seems to have leveled out around here though and prices are dropping some, so we'll see!
been a busy year here too. hope you are having better luck with parts than we are. have stuff that has been backordered for 6 months. space is always an issue no matter how much you have lol. good to hear from ya.
Most parts have been available. No issue with the small engine stuff, but farm tractor parts I ran into some issues over the summer, nothing major though. Was always able to get everything within 2 weeks tops. That's what they tell me haha, soon as ya got more, ya fill it up! Hey, glad to have you here...
so glad to see you glad your ok i am retired and like doing that kind of work and have a 30x40 shop with lots of projects going on try to check in more often thanks for the update
Ah, a 30X40 would be heaven! I'll do what I can Ernie, starting to plan for filming a repair video in between work. Going to start with that old DB walk behind...
Good to see a video from you again Jake! The 88 came out really nice! Looks pretty sharp! Maybe we can meet up again at some point in between my breaks from school and tackle that Stover too lol. If I don't talk to you in the next few days, have a Happy Thanksgiving and as always, I'm looking forward to seeing some more projects and videos when time allows!
Thanks Colin! Was thinking about that Stover today too haha. We'll get together on it some weekend. December might be the best bet at this point with our schedules... we'll talk. Same! Happy Thanksgiving!
That’s good your business is growing. I know what you mean by no space. I have almost the same setup, just no lift table in a 12x12 shed and other shelters for storage. Someday I’ll get out of here.
I hope you make more videos soon. I don't see many guys wrenching on old garden tractors on YT right now. I've been in the process of cleaning up a barn, tired of working in the driveway all the time. Working on WH GT14 right now, just re-watched your Jacobsen G10 videos.
One uploading as we speak! Lot of guy doing videos on older trucks, but not so much on the vintage equipment. Envious of that barn, will be nice when you're under cover. GT14's are good rigs!
@@5Tractorguy got my GT 14 from a friend for $400. all complete, rebuilding k321 this winter, too much blow by. Keeping it original paint. Having enough indoor space is crucial to work on stuff, insulated and dry is my goal. good luck on your hunt for a property...stuff is insane expensive, ugh
Sure have missed your videos, though I understand. Glad to hear from you again. I will be praying for you and looking forward to more videos. Keep the faith and something will come along. Always enjoy your videos.
Very happy things are going well, Jake. Take your time and do it right. Think about putting a hydraulic hose crimper with hose and fittings on the service truck. Made me a lot of money in the day. Love to see the old machines come back to life.
Thanks Russ. Ya know, the hydraulic stuff did cross my mind once. Might look into that over the winter and see what it would take to get a small setup together.
Well Good to see Ya! Hopefully there's a PA Plow Day and you can Attend!! When I find out about that I'll let you and Hugh and the guys Know! Stay Safe!
Thanks Leonard! Click on this link, it's the repair ad I run on the local Craigslist with my contact info. He can either email/call/text. worcester.craigslist.org/grd/d/boylston-older-tractor-engine-and/7423549762.html
