Big thanks to MP concepts For the ZL1 1LE style front bumper and thanks to Star Body & Paint Shop in New Port Richey, FL for painting and installing the product!
Picking up my ‘23 LT1 with dual mode exhaust redline edition and tech package tomorrow. Super excited and its a 3 year lease. Love your vids and keep up with the Camaro content!!!
Maybe you didn't know exactly what a lease was? I've never heard of anybody excited to proclaim they are picking up a lease. It will be cheaper If you don't buy at the end.
Great looking front bumper! Body holding up well for 40K in the Florida sun and exhaust note is 🔥. 1452 miles on my '22 6 speed, I hope it looks this great at 40K!
Oh wow Will I didn't know u changed up the front bumper. Looks great!! You should upgrade those door and knee trim pieces on the interior. Very easy to do and makes a great update to the interior.
I have this car and it's the most fun ive ever had in a car. My brother has a c8 and thats a crazy ride, but the camaro has such a character that i prefer it, maybe call ut cope, i dont care, i really love my camaro. And i dont have the break my back getting into it like the c8.
Kool tid-bit: The LT1 powered 2019+ Camaros with a manual trans, those engines were built in Bowling Green Vette factory with a stamped/signed engine plaque. But only on the manuals, not the 10 spds. Sporry auto guys/gals.
I’m saving my money for a lt1 instead of a ss even though they’re around the same price. Nice front bumper you should get the 16-18 headlights it would look sick since you got the 19+ taillights
I ordered a '23 LT1 manual in sharskin metallic with dual mode exhaust and red calipers. Love the car! It's got such low end torque with that pushrod engine. Funnest car I've ever owned. I'll never get rid of it. On your new front end, where did you get it, did you go to the dealer to get it installed and did it come pre-painted? I've been trying to buy just a small touch-up paint bottle from GM and haven't been able to buy it. Keep getting told it's on some lifetime backorder. Seriously, touch-up paint not available is pretty nuts. I even wrote Mary Barra at GM asking for help and never even got a response. Sucks.
Agreed the non folding side mirrors is unheard of these days. As always a well- done vid, thanks for sharing. Hardest part of owning a new one is enduring the long 1500 mile break-In period and keeping the RPM under 4000.
Nice! I have a 2022 LT1. I’m thinking about swapping out the gauge cluster for the SS one to get 200 on the dash and the larger digital display. What are your thoughts on that?
@@MasterCarguy44-pk2dq Yeah, it would be more just for the looks. I’m considering just trading in my LT1 and getting a 2SS instead of doing a bunch of upgrades. I regret not shelling out the extra $$ when i bought it.
@@nycetno it’s functions just like the ss just doesn’t have track mode but if you’re not tracking your car who cares. lt1 is lighter with the same hp. WHITE AUTO MEDIA has digital clusters they program for the lt1 i have one n it was only $700 deff worth the it🤝🏽 i got a 2022 lt1
Thanks! I didn’t really notice a difference in ride quality vs the factory tires and I think it rides a little better than the Goodyear summer tires they put on the regular 1ss 👍🏼
My limiter is at about 2500 but sometimes it’ll let you rev it closer to 3000 but never above that. It just sounds a little higher because of the rasp from the NPP exhaust 👍🏼
Since my buyout is $25k, I’ll probably try to switch to a 2024 or 2023 1SS depending on the deal I can get. Why pay 25 for a 45k mile Camaro when you can pay 40 for a brand new one. Especially considering that I’m likely not paying cash either way, and interest rates on used cars are almost double at this point
These are Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. I’d probably stick with these on all my future performance cars simply for how well they’ve treated me on this car. Only problem is since the Camaro comes with run flat tires and no spare, these can cause more potential issues if you get a flat because they’re not run flat.
I was about 6 months out of college when I got this car, and a 0 down 366 per month lease simple wasn’t possible for the SS. I would’ve had to buy the SS which would’ve required me to put nearly all the money I had at the time down, and still pay about double for the monthly payments. Hind sight is 20/20 and it would’ve been a better long term deal to buy, but short term, that lease deal really made a lot of things possible🤷🏻♂️ I’m looking at an SS now, either 2024 or 2023 depending on the deal 👍🏼
It’s definitely an option, I just want to keep things as close to the base as possible, and I just prefer the base 275 rear summer tires and Tremec transmission over the ridiculous 235 all seasons and Getrag transmission that comes standard on the GT. So yeah it’s an option but it’ll cost way more to get the one I’d want lol
