sorry it cut me off at the end. In the room the Chinese was a tad more aggressive, more forward, tighter and clearer to my surprise but it is a newer amp and less time on the valves so that could impact slightly but I don't think all the way. Chinese was a tad noisier but the fact it sounded better off sets that.

Both sound great. I had two USA versions and they both sounded a tad different in an A/B demo. So many variables that even two identical amps can sound different.

I got one of the China made 6505s and so far it’s been a great amp. Hell I only paid 300$ for it. Bought from a guy in town from Facebook market.

Noise Gate is a must. Can't live without one. They both sound about the same and any difference can get adjusted with a little tweeking.

They’re mostly identical. There’ll be more of a difference between two randomly selected US-built models than the difference between a randomly selected US-built model and a Chinese-built model. Great high gain amps on the whole when it comes to price and reliability.

I’d imagine the biggest difference in components are the transformers. Many don’t consider how much of a difference the transformer makes to your sound in the end, but it’s significant.

I've had a USA one since day one and it's awesome. I'm sure the Chinese are as well. Savings in labor and likely more consistent

I have a 2012 USA version +…. I absolutely love it…. I have never played a Chinese version, but rockers still love them…

check out the bias settings. i think that it will be different because from the factory is set very low and in my opinion it is better. it can be a reason why the chinese one is better for you.
