What I take from this is, Jericho chose to fight once. From there he chose to back everytime he judged something was unfair. So he naturally did stand up against Brock even though it was Brock. He didn't wake up really brave one day and was in a mood for some Brock. It was built into him.

He never tells it this way but I think what Chris was trying to do by confronting Brock was call Vince or whomever responsible out for doing a planned blood spot. He wasn't pissed at Brock, he was pissed that Vince obviously OKd the blood and figured fighting Brock out of concern for Randy would get Vince to admit the truth.

I don’t think people understand how dangerous someone like Brock was and still is. He could literally kill most humans walking this earth with his bare hands. Why fight someone like that over a grievance? Ego?

Main issue was Chris Jericho believed Brock Lesnar went into business for himself and legitimately tried to hurt Randy Orton. None of the locker room was told that it was an agreed upon spot by Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon.

Chris Jericho was one of the best heels of all time. I remember watching in the late 90s/early 2000s and I HATED his character. But I've come to realize just how good he really was. Now I think he's just a cool guy.

Chris admits that Brock would beat him in a fight. This argument stems from the Lesnar/Orton summerslam match. To this day i don’t understand the finish of that match. It’s so ambiguous and just straight up weird. I don’t get the point of that finish. No wonder jericho was mad about it. I’d be too. Randy lost quite a bit of blood and for what? Just to tell a story. There’s so many ways to tell a story even with blood and violence but this was so uncool to watch.
