This video shows all phases of a transatlantic flight from Iceland (BIRK) to Greenland (BGSF), ATC clearance, checklist procedures, position reports in the North Atlantic Airspace and a landing at Sondrestromfjord (BGSF).
ATC is recorded and procedures in the cockpit are explained with subtitles, photos and charts.
Special thanks go to my trusted friend and Co Pilot Capt. Amir Alam.

Thank you for the new video. My young daughter loves to watch them and now I can show her places that I worked on my ham radio as you fly into them. Also pass on the nice landing to Capt. Alam. Like you have said in the past the only thing that will be remembered on a great flight is a poor landing. Here is to more "happy landings" in 2015. Brian

excellent video Guido,just a question,what does six lights mean when you use reverse thrust?

Garry Mulholland Hi Garry, For every engine there is a stack of three lights to show the status of the thrust reversers: First light: ARMED - system is armed, hydraulic pressure applied Second light: UNLOCK - reverser is unlocked, a mechanical lock is removed Third light: DEPLOY - reversers are deployed When the reverser is deployed all the three lights illuminate. Three lights and two engines make "six lights". It is a call to verify that both reverses have deployed after landing and that the normal wheel brakes only to be used in moderation.
