It is important to install the clutch fork in some Colorado, Rodeo and D-Max vehicles using a specific process. On Clutch Tech, we show you the correct procedure for removal of the transmission, fork setup and lubrication as well as the installation of the bearing back into the clutch cover when installing the transmission.

Dose the slave push against the fork or pull it back towards the rear

Mine looks like this but if I bolt the slave in it would be pushing the fork back and not against the pressure plate

Are you meant to remove the locking mechanism on the throw out bearing and put on the clutch pressure plate before assembly or

Hey guys, I have a 97 rodeo 4wd with a 3.2v6. Today I bled the clutch as it had become very soft and the car would not get into gear. This seemed to work well but now the car will not start without engaging the clutch and dies when the pedal is let out. The car won’t move in gear or run in neutral and I’m stumped. Any ideas?

hey..I worked on my friends slave cylinder because someone had told him it was bad.. so I pulled it out and noticed that the end of the shift fork that the slave cylinder pushes in, wasn't returning back to position (towards the rear of the vehicle) does this indicate the clip came off of the throw out bearing?

Hi, Thanks for your comment. This is a pull type kit. The TB32009 bearing shown clips into the diaphragm of the pressure plate.

Hey boys, right now my Colorado won’t start even when clutch in maybe the clutch is on its way out, and it just isn’t in enough to register? Mine is a 2012 Colorado RG! Any tips??

@@CollieRG Hi, generally the first indicator of a worn clutch is slipping and raised pedal engagement point. This starting issue could be caused by a number of things including a faulty switch. We would recommend taking this in to a local workshop and see if they can diagnose this further.
