Can you explain how to properly keep your head off of the floor? Even when I do lift with my abs (I lift without moving my neck at all) it still hurts

I felt super discouraged after doing this yesterday because of the last 5 minutes, but I’ve decided that I’m going to do those last 5 minutes every day until I can get through it without stopping 💪🏽

I know this is probably not a big deal but i literally just completed this properly for the first time!!! I've been trying every second day for 3 weeks and struggled with the last five minutes to not rest from plank but just then i did it!!! I'm going to keep doing it a couple more days before trying level 3 😭😭😍😍😂🙌🥰 Thanks Cassey!!!! X

@@kellybella1004 hi! Yes I did. I still do level 3 often along with her other level 3 workouts and I walk daily and attempt crossfit (only once a week cause am wimp). From doing the level 3 of this video consistently and no less than twice a week for a year my entire core is nice and toned including the sides. However if I've been eating junk food too much it shows no matter how much i do this, so i try and eat well 80% of the time too. It is great. i sometimes think my body becomes used to it so i switch it up with other things and sometimes have a week or two not doing it. But for sure this workout is worth the initial pain!!

Cassey's like "hold that plank! Don't go on your knees" But I'm like: failing & collapsing after 5 seconds. That was so damn intense!!! How do you work your abs for years yet feel so weak on some moves!? Ugh, guess I need to do more plank exercises and do even more core workouts than I'm used to! (I am dreading level 3, now)

Ah Yayyy level2 is much more fun than the complete beginner one, and I love how Cassey emphasizes the proper position for the neck when doing abs facing forward. Absolutely sweaty in this workout

I had to take a break several times during the last 5 minutes. Gonna do this several times before progressing to level 3! I already did level 1 three times, and since this is way harder, I might need 5 times total😅

Haven't worked out in a while and just started again a few days ago, yet somehow I was pretty decent (for my standards) at this!! Was quite surprised, but honestly if it wasn't for Cassey's support I would've given up after like 4mins max Anyway this workout is intense, but honestly so fun!! And I usually dislike working my abs Just goes to show how great of a motivation she is

You might be dipping the back too much, that usually happens to me too. Try to lengthen the tailbone down, that usually helps ^-^

Keep the abs tight/ sucked in and butt lifted (not high into the sky but it should not be drooping). Important to get proper form or the plank is ineffective.

Doing the candle stick right before plank is such hell cause your arms work more during candle stick and even more during plank. Cassie if you read this please dont put the candle stick right before plank. Ps: keep up the awesome work i still love you

it took me 2 and a half weeks to complete the last part. as a total noob when it came to pilates, I did not expect myself to actually plank for 5 minutes. funnily enough, because of the Cassey’s affirmation that “I could do it” I truly believed in myself and decided that I was going to do this workout 4 times a week. Now, day 17, I not only am proud of my own endurance but also of my mindset that shifted because of Cassey. Thank you for helping me believe in myself ❤️

Cassey Cassey, I absolutely love you. Seven years ago I pulled you up on RU-vid and did the thousand abs sit up challenge and ever since then I have a loved your workouts. I just did the second level abs and you put us in a plank at the end and it killed me but I know that I'm absolutely going to love the way I feel tomorrow. Also I am taking a six-month course in being a fitnessCoach. My dream is to do exactly what it is that you do and have my own retreat one day. I hope to meet you one day. Dear Future Grass, Sure, my abs are sore. That was definitely an ab burn. BUT LEMME COMPLAIN ABOUT MY INNOCENT SHOULDERS!!! If you do this video again, Cassey will make you hold planks for the last 5 minutes. I was doing so well not pausing the video, but when this 5 min portion came along, I paused a few times. Can you blame me? I'll do better next time. It could also be the cardio + abs I did right before. Besides that, no pausing! I'm getting so much better at not pausing! -Grass

Dear Future Grass, bc I'm following along with Cassey's calendar, I should be doing the 30 minute level 3 version of this video. BUT, I'm always miserable doing it! I never feel good or happy during the process. So I was like, "I need to move down a level". It's really hard for me to do that bc of my ego but I did. And I'm gonna WORK my way up the ab ladder! Thanks for the plank warning! A 5 MIN PLANK SECTION!!! GEEZ! My shoulders definitely got a burn! I'm proud of myself for NOT PAUSING THE VIDEO! It's all in the mental! I just busied myself with calculating how much time was left: "Okay, so there's 3:00 left. 3-3=0 so I'll be done in 3 minutes! No problem." "Now there's 2:00 left. 2 minutes is 30 seconds away from 1 minute and 30 seconds. I got this." "Okay, now there's 1:30 seconds left. I've done a minute and 30 of plié squats before! I got this!" "WHY IS THIS LAST MINUTE SO LONG!?" I have sweat all over my mat and floor, but hey, at least I did it! On the plus side, the planks were a nice breaks for my hip-flexors and neck. - Grass

My god, the plank variations in the last 5 minutes. This is the third time I’ve done this workout and it’s still so hard! Planning on doing this one every week until I can do it without stopping!

I love it when cassey gives breathing tips on every workout cause I always forget to breath or I don’t know how to breathe so this is so good

I used to have to modify everything to get through this workout, and now, after doing over and over again, I can do it ALL! Even the planks?? (although those still burn the most haha). Plus, I've noticed every time I have a little lower back pain and I do this workout, it starts to go away like magic. Cassey, you make me feel so strong! :)
