The key to defending against Bridget is rotating stable options, rarely will one action work against her maneuvers or offense all the time. All Bridget Counterplay by Digblig: • all bridget counterplay Edited by: Hotashi
Honestly, such a good video explaining the thought process of neutral. Can really apply this to any character or any game as this shows how to assess possible threats and counter measures for common decisions in the neutral game
Dear Lord thank you for this video. I know it’s easier to do since you play Bridget but if you did in depth videos of this for most if not all the cast that would be awesome
This did not feel like 40 mins. I'm still beginning with Bridget but I learned a ton, and not all of it was Bridget-specific either. Really awesome video.
Few things to note for Bridget mains: Bridget can stall the roll even further to bait the 6p, and she can cancel roll into iabd super fast, so you may to punish the 6p depending on how laggy it is. In some spacing, canceling roll into jp can bait the 6p too. That's specific knowledge but important if the opponent knows the matchup
Never see this character around but I'm familiar with these ideas, it's a bit like how Simon burns time in smash to assist his midrange with projectiles (at least for me). Glad to have some secondhand experience from this video.
I haven't touched strive in 2.5 years cause shit game. Regardless this was a very insightful video and totally worth watching as the thought process can be applied to any other airdasher. Thanks for the good and educational content.
