In this video, I am chasing that Halloween high by dedicating the entirety of the Halloween weekend to creating a magical atmosphere. wow, that mystery house looked like a lot of fun. I LOVED that nostalgia room! That casper box is adorable! Love him dressed as a vamp. Oh no about all hallows! I had so many people tell me they loved this book and I HAVE to read it. So glad Mina was 5 stars for you! I've read the first one, but I still need to read the second one.

I have seen people love All Hallows too and I wish I was one of them 😭😭 I was devestated haha. Maybe that’s why I am so mad about it; because I tried so hard to like it. 😅 The sequel to Mina would be a great read all year round, but especially during Halloween since it takes places during that season. 👻

As weird as it may sound, I feel like I don't know how to celebrate holidays properly hahah, or maybe I just havent found a way to do it that feels really authentic to myself. But seeing everyone else enjoying spooky season so much and fully embracing it in all the fun seasonal things, I really loved it so so much.

Wow, all that retro Halloween goodness! That's pretty much my dream holiday decor😍And I love the Dracula wine and the subscription box-too cute! All Hallows didn't really work for me but I wasn't sure if it was because I listened to it on audio. I like suburban horror but it just felt too disjointed and, as you said, didn't do enough with the folk horror elements. The Halloween Store wasn't on my radar so making a note for next year🎃 As always, great video!

I can assure you, Liz, that it wasn't because of the audio that made All Hallows so uninteresting 😂 And I love that you put a name to the subgenre it utilized! I am still discovering my thoughts on suburban horror. I like the idea of playing with themes of land, home invasion, and the American Dream. And I really think you would enjoy The Halloween Store! Tons of nostalgia but nothing too ground-breaking!!

The WInchester Mystery house looked SO absolutely cool and spooky!!! OMGGGG the retro Halloween museum!!!!!!!! HOW COOL was that WOW!🎃🎃👻👻😍😍OMG those 19 crimes wines!! I seen the Frankenstein one at the store and I AM REGRETTING now picking it up, especially with reading and loving Frankenstein in October I 100% should have gotten it! 1:15 THE SADDEST PART!!! OMG same about Haunted Houses. I visited the Winchester Mansion earlier this year. I would love to go back during the Halloween season. OMG, it looks like so much fun! Cheers to the 19 crimes! I ALMOST bought one of their bottles. Watching The Blob while carving pumpkins, where's my invite! j/k LOL. I have t say I was pleasantly surprised with Five Nights at Freddy's. I wish it had been an R-rated movie, but I get it why it's PG-13. They're trying sell more tickets with kids. Do you have plans to see Thanksgiving? I enjoyed this vlog. You have such. bubbly spirit. Love it! Happy Creepmas season! I can't wait to see the Christmas decor.

First of all, that lip colour looks incredible on you!! My go-to last minute costume is always a cat. I have this headband that is cat ears and just use some eyeliner for some whiskers lol Aw those ghostie wine glasses are so cute! I totally relate to what you said about putting the pressure on a day. I feel that a lot on my birthday, but staying present like you mentioned helps so much! It looks like you had a great Halloween! This was wonderful! All of the little things add up to be one big Halloween bag of joy! Haha! I took my daughter and her friend to haunted house, I hadn’t been to one in years! It was so much fun. Unfortunately Halloween in Iowa was freezing this year so we had to make trick or treating short. But we still had fun. I was Wednesday Addams this year, my idol! lol The original Wednesday! I wish I had the heart and bravery for intense haunted houses. I did one haunted corn maze this year to push myself out of my comfort zone and luckily it was short but it still got me 😅 And I was seeing some people on Instagram post photos with snow as they were tick r treating. That’s so wild to me as a California girl but I’m sure lovely in the winter months. Wednesday is so iconic 😍 That attitude! 👏🏽 I love it!! Were you Christina Ricci’s Wednesday or isn’t there an older black and white Addams Family? Or am I thinking of something else?

Oh mannnn I DNF’d All Hallows. I felt like it was too much about the characters on their own and it didn’t feel enough like Halloween. This was such a fun vlog, you did so many cool things! It never stopped raining here all October so on Halloween I went to Barnes and had a tine chai! 💜👻🎃🍂🍂

I do this thing where I have a lot of hopes for a book and even though I’m not enjoying it, I stay with it because I *hope* it will get better. Rarely does that happen 😅 so I think I should have definitely cut my losses. What a great premise, though. Sadly the execution was just a melodramatic mess 😬 And I’m so jelly of your rainy fall weather. We are just stating to get gloomy weather over here in Northern California. I can’t wait!!

sad that u didnt enjoy all hallows! i was thinking of starting the audiobook tomorrow haha i expect nothing from it so maybe i will enjoy it haha i absolutely loved this vlog!!! it was extremely cozy and perfect to watch after a couple days after halloween HAPPY HALLOWEEN AND LET'S CONTINUE THE SPOOOKY SEASON PS: One thing that brought me joy was spending halloween with my friends, watching spooky movies with them and just spending a lovely evening.
