Al and I puled sleds from Wanakena to Janack's Landing on the Dead Creek Flow Trail at Cranberry Lake, NY in search of 40" Pike!
Cranberry Lake covers 11 square miles and has 55 miles of shoreline, of which more than 40 miles are state-owned. The lake contains smallmouth bass, northern pike, yellow perch, brown bullhead and brook trout.

Please respect the woods & waters and leave them better than you found them. Pack out all trash! Collect only dead and down wood in the Adirondack Park. Respect Mah Nature!

I have a camp about a mile from Janacks landing!! You should see the pike we pull out of there in the summer!!

Nice Dave! You're hardcore with your winter camping trips! and I HATE slush on a lake... ugh. Some of the hardest experiences of my life were trying to ice fish and drag gear with slush on a lake. Awesome trip though! :)
