I’ve been a dumper and a dumpee. As a dumper he is spot on. I felt all these things (minus having a back up plan). I just thought I needed out. When I tried to get my ex back four months later who was dating someone else, she rejected me and good for her. (Learned a valuable lesson)

No contact worked for me! My ex came back today, 2 weeks after our breakup. She told me she missed me so much, loved me, and she never wanted to be without me. We have decided to take things slow and both committed to doing therapy sessions. I bought Coach Lee’s emergency breakup kit and I followed everything he said. Day 20 and it’s so hard. Some days are better than the others but almost everyday has been difficult :( but it is getting easier!

Been 6 months since break up from a 4 year relationship. I’ve been through hell. I moved to another country for her and to pursue better opportunities. She lives with her family and I live by myself. I still miss them all, they were my only family there. Just 6 months after she is with another person. She graduated while holding the arm of another guy, while I failed my master’s degree due to severe depression. She had to get over me with another guy. I instead focused on myself and now I’m in a way better place physically and mentally. The thing is I still hold this grief unwillingly. I live in a country where no one cares about me but still, I don’t give up and have hope things will get better. Update 4 months later: I am currently national runner-up in grappling (similar to wrestling martial art) in feather weight. It was an old hobby I picked up on doing again and went this far by myself in this country. Currently not dating anyone. Just purely focused on myself. Fell in love with the process. Disciplined as only few can be. I started the year on 200lb and now I am 150lb fit with big arms, chest and abs. Wrote a whole book about everything. The power is in your mind. Your videos helped me a lot, especially the emphasis on "no contact". During this no contact phase, I realized that the ex that I was trying to get back is basically a walking red flag. I was only attracted to part of her physique but otherwise we didn't really have much in common, and mostly didn't get eachother a lot. Also our situations in life are very different. It is essential to disconnect yourself from the situation entirely and see it from a colder perspective in order to realize if something is good or bad for yourself. 4 year online friendship and 2.5 years of romantic relationship, we never met but we video chatted weekly, talked daily for hours and text none stop and we were planning to meet in February, 1 days prior to him breaking up with me he assured me 100% he was coming in February, but then he decided to tell me the next day he wasn't in love with me anymore like I am with him. He said he just loves me like a best friend and that is why he doesn't see our future together. We had plans, why give up so close to us actually being together? It doesn't make sense. Also 2 days prior to the breakup i had said I was worried it was the beginning of the breakup and he told me it absolutely was not and promised we would work on things.

He's not more attractive than me and never will be. He's plain, ordinary and got fat! ( Btw, his past loves were homely and unkempt.) If he seriously thinks that he is very attractive, he is crazy. 55 days of absolute no contact! I'm forced to see the ex everyday in the office and it is so hard to remain sane, but I have realised how toxic my ex was and is and we are a complete oppisite to each other! Five months of no contact. Seemingly great two year relationship. I still love her but I have moved on with my life. Oddly, I went out with my first ever girlfriend last night as we’ve remained friends through the years. Well we wound up kissing after having a nice evening last night. 27 years since my very first kiss with her. Not sure it counts as a success story as I believe we’ll still keep the friendship level as I live a few states away, but life is too short.

There will always be someone better looking, smarter, makes more money, better in bed, or more attractive in some way. And that goes both ways. But loyalty and commitment is what keeps people together. NC gives a person the opportunity to learn self respect and make themselves more attractive. NEVER think that you couldn’t find someone more ATTRACTIVE than your ex. Because you CAN and probably will if you do the work it takes to make yourself more attractive. Whether you end up with your ex or not should be irrelevant to bettering yourself as a person. Begging someone to stay with you that wasn’t loyal to you in the first place isn’t someone worth keeping. So if your ex wants to come back, they better damn well prove themselves and earn any moment of time you’re willing to give them. They were the ones dumb enough to walk away in the first place. So in all actuality they were the one’s beneath you. Not the other way around. The only exception to that would be if you were cheating or abusive to them. In which case you got what you deserved. Otherwise, love yourselves more people. Coach Lee is right about this stuff.

Heyy! Plz I need somebody's help... I'm so confused now idk what to do. I and my ex broke up 8 months ago, we decided to stay frnds but we reduced communication thinking it would not ruin our frndship and we will be able talk as usual. But after some months I felt like he was being very impatient with me, being angry on me whenever I talk about making a new start. I felt like he was moving on and thinking me as less attractive than before. After like 6 months I came to know about no contact. I applied it for 2 months and he reached out for like 7 times during this no contact. I kept it casual but didn't talk that much. Then yesterday I thought I should also initiate so I contacted him and talked. But while talking I revealed a secret that he should not hear, after knowing that he became angry and thought I've changed alot and this change isn't good for me. After giving me advice on that topic he said to talk on call, then we talked on video call but it seemed like he wasn't that interested that much. I should not have talk about being in relationship but I desperately did then he denies saying we don't have future so it doesn't matter. After that he also said now he doesn't feel same for me, feelings have changed, he doesn't miss me that much.after hearing all these I was devastated and was losing all hopes. No contact for 6 months now, first 3 months i felt like crap, emotionally destroyed, started to heal just a little by 4th month, by 5th month it was more like resignation, 6th month just faint hope, i had been tempted to contact but everytime i freeze and overthink, i already said what i had to say , if that wasnt enough then its time to move on, but is extremely difficult to accept it, i dont regret it, i will do it over again although is very painful, i just learned to live with that pain. Could you please do video with your best steps to deal with ex neither reaching out during no contact of around two months, nor responding to perfect single message (per your backup advice) after no contact? For example when or if to send second message. Other coaches contradict each other on handling this situation. Your old video on reaching out (as backup) doesn’t address no response at all

My ex always thought I was the best-looking woman out there in his eyes and after 4 days he hooked up with some other woman, and she in no way is better looking than I am or even your average woman, cause sadly this woman is hard looking really. So he didn't hook up with better than who he had. My ex and I were together for over 10 years, and I believe that his two adult daughters had a part in him leaving me and us not getting along very well because he was the worse when it came to communication. My ex isn't close to the best-looking man around, but I loved him so much that I saw him as good-looking to me, even when others would ask me what I saw in him. Now, im left behind in pain and tears and can't seem to let him go out of my head, for my ex is my first love and I thought we would be together forever. I want him back but know that I couldn't help but picture him with that other woman who is ugly from the inside and out.

This video is really well articulated and people can ask themselves why isn't this taught by the right people way back starting at the high school level. The schools are misinformed on how to prepare students to become the adults students need to be to function as strong young, middle, and older adults.

Around 25 days into no contact, 30 into the breakup itself. I've rarely disagreed with most of your content but I can say none applies to me here. Besides my previous ex indeed knew she could get me back anytime she wanted. And while it sure is the case for my current ex, knowing your material made it so she cannot be sure at all. I went straight to NC, only doing a form of last video that was full of things that I feel would support attraction later. And that's why I want to get back with my ex. She is not like that. I admit in her case if she has been or is in a rebound relationship it'd be over as all she stands for would be made to have been false. But being in NC I have no way to know. BTW I must not be the only one that it's their fear during NC. You know that women also have fear of engagement. When they see a man is committed, NOW they have more doubts and analyse the faults. Biology. They risk a lot. But it's the sad irony both my last two exes had this fall in attraction when they finally "had" me...
