We often go through the pedestal phase after the anger and sadness phase wears off. Then you just realize life was better after they left and we often build them up more than what they were.

This happened to me. I finally allowed him to leave and when he saw that i wasn’t fighting for him anymore, he begged for me to move in with him “for the kids sake”. So I did and now a week later after moving my entire life into his house, he sent me a text Thursday morning saying he made a mistake and got a moving truck and moved my stuff back out by Saturday. Should’ve just stood my ground when I told him I was fine staying at my place but I let him talk me into it just to turn around and uproot my life. Now our daughters world is crashing down around her when previously, we were in an ok place with allowing her dad to leave like he’d wanted. Once she thought we would all move in and be a family again, she was so happy 😔

My ex started dating someone else too for 3 months but I kept my no contact and she did come back after 6 months and she apologized for everything she put me through She left him and wanted to come back to me but you don't have to rush that time and just take your time untill she realises it

@@martindavies1616 have you tried therapy? I got on an anti depressant and got therapy and it has really helped. Don’t fight the emotions. Embrace them. Try to have more positive days compared to negative. It takes time.

@@reneesimmons1890 it's up and down... I'm keeping myself busy with a regular exercise routine and a new puppy. Sadly the puppy is having some health issues. Some days I feel so strong and like I'm turning the corner. Others I feel deep depression and fall into a rabbit hole wondering how she could do all this to me. It was like breaking up wasn't enough... it almost feels like she has convinced herself I did something horrible to her and I need to pay for it. I still haven't heard from her or seen my dog but I'm staying strong in no contact.

@@Godofvalley it is easier that way for me, emotionally. I was in severe depression after the break up and I think I need to focus on myself. Forever seems to make sense to me as I feel no strength and interest to begin the relationship with anyone else. I guess I am an idiot loyal, but I put my self love above all. Thursday and Friday was a good day then on Saturday I got drunk and expressed all the hurt he put me through . He also told me he loves me on Saturday then on Monday broke up with me because he said I’ve got too much hate in my heart for him and it he saw my true feelings for him when I got drunk -_- because he hurt me which he said he understands because it’s his fault . On Tuesday I rung him and said I don’t hate him and can we make it work he said no I said so you’re done 100% he said yes he even used the saying “it’s not you it’s me “ bullshit . I havnt heard from him since it’s been a week I’m hurting because he could have just left me alone tbh ,instead of coming into my life again I miss him but I’m not going to contact him as clearly he’s using my hurt as an excuse to leave and if he cared he would have contacted me after the day I rung him because he knows I was heartbroken,Because I was crying to him on the phone to him about not wanting it to end (which I’m embarrassed about ). Never will I take a man back again exes are exes for a reason I should have followed my gut . @@tercsi1 I did no contact for two months he reached out the first month saying “i hope you’re ok and tried to FaceTime me twice I ignored it then the second month he called me 16 times and texted me apologising for Everything he’s done to me but I ignored it then the next day he carried on texting and calling till i answered . I wished I ignored him then I wouldn’t be heartbroken all over again . Don’t take them back if they’ve realised they’ve messed up they will just do the same thing over again.😔
