Guys! I made video how to upgrade heat-bead of every model of CR10 3D printers. With this upgrade heat-bed can go to 135C under 4 minutes! Printing ABS is not a problem no more! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IhjqfMHyBAI.html

I print with ABS with hotbed at 109C without problem with my Anet A8 - Prusa I3. I use a Koptan tape directly over aluminium hotbed without glass plate. But I've changed power supply to a new 350W, installed two mosfets to connect to struder and hotbed and changed hotbed cables too.

Hi Nexi, You do a grand presentation of the various printers. It has helped me much in my printer purchase. I would appreciate if you could demonstrate the easiest method in changing the filament in the bowden sytems, meaning ones that dont have auto features to assist. Thank you.
@NexiTech
@NexiTech 6 лет назад
My friend that is very easy. First heat up the nozzle to 175C (if you using PLA) And then you press and hold Filament realise on bowden extruder with the fingers and then push in filament a little and then just pull the filament back with the fingers out the teflon tube.

Would this be a better option for ABS than the full size CR10? IIRC the bed on the full size didn't heat evenly, and/or high enough because of the huge bed, but the mini seems to heat evenly and to very good temp because of the smaller bed (@ 13:37 )
@twinturbostang

I had the same question! Hopefully Nexi Tech responds.
@NexiTech
@NexiTech 6 лет назад
Yes, CR10-mini is better for printing ABS then full size CR10 or CR10S. Even if you apply insulating under Heatbed CR10-mini will reach higher temps(faster too) comparing to regular CR10 or CR10S.

I have been toying with the idea of buying a 3-D printer for a little under a year now I have looked very expensive models but ultimately can't see spending that kind of money for the use it would get for me anyway. I would order The CR 10 mini right this very minute but I'm not coming up with enough print options for what I'm interested in but the only site I looked at was Thingiverse.. at least for now I would want to be able to print stuff for my hobby which is drones DJI to be exact any more input would be very helpful

Thank you for your review. Which do you think is better with Creality CR-10 Mini or Anycubic i3 mega? .
@NexiTech
@NexiTech 6 лет назад
msucat grumpy Well if we put build volume on the side. I like I3 Mega more because it has more modern design, touch screen, it take less space and it have filament run out alarm. Cr10 mini on other hand has much stronger robust frame and its slightly easier to change parts and maintain. If you don't need extra build volume I would go with I3 mega, but no matter which you choose they are both great 3D printers and you will not be wrong. Cheers!

@NexiTech
@NexiTech 5 лет назад
Robert Crawford Don't worry my friend. If you ever tight down few screws in your life you are going to be just fine. You don't need any torq wrench for assembling this 3D printer. Just a little bit of force. If you are really want me to guess then I'm guessing like 5Nm.
@robertcrawford718
@robertcrawford718 5 лет назад
Thanks. I am probably a bit obsessive about torque specs because I spent about ten years as a field service tech. A lot of problems I went out on were the result of other techs', "not needing a torque wrench." Thanks for the review and the reply :)

Nexi Tech , have read the CR-10 the regular version isnt good at printing TPU filaments, how about the mini? Also, what filaments brands should I get. Seems there are a lot of bad ones in the market. Im planning on getting PLA and TPU. Do you have videos on filaments brands for the CR -10 series ? Thanks for your feedback.
@NexiTech
@NexiTech 6 лет назад
Hector Camacho CR10/CR10S/CR10-Mini are the same when it comes to TPU(flexible filament) as they all have the same bowden extruder. TPU filaments can be a bit tricky to print on Bowden extruders as they all have long teflon tube to push filament thru. You can print TPU on any CR10 but you need to print in lower speeds(20-30mm/s) and with higher hot end temperature to reduce pressure in bowden tube and melt the filament faster. About filament brands I use pretty mich everything. From cheapest possible PLA from Gearbest/Aliexpress/Local store/ to Expensive/Premium Brands. 90% of all my prints in my all reviews are printed with cheapest filaments and the print quality is very good. No need to stress about it.
@gajodafeira

@gajodafeira
@gajodafeira 6 лет назад
It's your first printer? Every 3D printer tested needs to be tunned up. It's not buy = print, you have to spend time with it, givbe it some love. If you say Tornado is rubish, buy a Anet A8 and you will see.
@gajodafeira
@gajodafeira 6 лет назад
Every case is a different case. Did you changed slicer? Tried different settings? There's so many variables! I found out that putting a printer bolt by bolt, from the scratch, it's a bad option for accuracy and out patients. Are part of the Tevo Tornado official group on facebook? If not, please PM me.
