What a spit in the face to destroy his memorial after failing him and his mother and the community. Shame on that school and the police that couldn't even take the time to approach and console a grieving mother. Shame on you all. RIP Jordan Manners
If you don't have answers, you do what.....run. Cowards, this police dept should be ashamed. Not, talking to Mom, absolutely disgraceful. God bless this mother.
FadedMix That is exactly what I was about to comment. I have literally just seen the part when the so called “lead detective” tries and fails to give a reason why he didn’t go see Jordan’s Mum. He shouldn’t be in the police Force. That so called “detectives” family must so be so ashamed of him. I know I would be
The police do not come across well. The chief making excuses as to why they never visited the mother is cringeworthy. Shockingly shoddy! The blows just kept coming for that poor lady.
Duffers. they knew very well what the boys name is, reach in his pocket and take out his wallet, open it up, you know where the place that someone keeps their ID....take it out, look down....bingo there is his name
its very sad whoever did this is a real twisted demonic monster he was such a talented artist he seemed to be a sweet and genuine person as well its sad these kind of people die but the demons of the earth still walk
I never comment on videos but this one shocked me to the core. From the very beginning this poor mother was dumped at the wrong hospital and left, not a word said to her, and as for the excuses made by the police chief, you could see he was searching for words and failing miserably, he knew they had messed up. So are they really saying that they never had one person available to attend to this poor mother. Then this mother finds out which hospital to go to....eventually...then she gets there and no one speaks to her or allows her to see her son. Let's not even begin to discuss the lack of investigation. Why were more people not questioned, why has this mother never been visited and kept informed of progress, or rather, the lack of it. Why has that other witness that knows what happened never been questioned. I kept watching, despite my disgust throughout, in the hope that this would be resolved. To add insult to injury, the school digs up his tree and removes his plaque. My heart breaks for this mother.
Joey van Wyk how awful 😔I hope she can find peace in her heart and forgiveness to all the useless people involved in her son's investigation! Shame on them!
This was a sad case and the cops knew that they had messed up this is a horrible place to live she should have sued the school seeing that those boys did not go to the school but they were in her son school. I wonder do they have school camera surveillance
This is true! I feel that even though she had her kid taken from her. However, this documentary was hard to watch because this mother had no real emotions just anger. Her sons legacy and agreeing to this documentary she should show more of an empathy and just answer questions. Her behavior just showed anger and pretty much a lot of refusal of speaking. The black community has to stop with the code of silence and retaliation of this code of silence for snitching. That has to stop and people need to speak. Even if they do it anonymously this has to stop.
This was the most heart wrenching program I ever watched, that beautiful boy died for nothing, got no justice, let down by horrific system and police were a total farce.
This woman died with him when she found out his passing. She's completely destroyed. She's dead, you can see it in her eyes. I feel terribly bad for her yet surprised she has not ended her life due to such depression. She must be strong.
She will not kill herself bc she's a Christian and as a Christian, you must put your trust in Him. It's not easy and you may want to die but, you can't.
Stay strong Queen your young man is your angle watching over your but please remember Almighty is the judge and the jury and he will get the Justice that matter the most so many human are evil and don't care about you are your pain .Mother my heart pains for you and family that lose family member die at the hands of evil.😭😠😘😘 righteous
this mom...she's a real hero. she's profound, wise, brave...my heart goes out to her, she's a beautiful human being. With her to guide, Jordan would have grown to be a wonderful member of society.
I want Jordan's mother to know that even though I don't know you personally, watching this show made made me cry. I have 2 sons and I live half a world away in western Australia and I kept my boy's art work . Please know that reaching out on this show and telling your story of incredible loss, does reach others. I care. I truly believe your beautiful boy is always with you in spirit. Please be strong for his siblings. You will make him proud.
You don't move on. Ever. I know this from my own experience of losing a child from something senseless and mind boggling and the hardest part for me is that he died alone. That just crushes my heart. He was so loved! Just like this young man in the video. RIP
I feel so sad for the mother. You can tell her pains through her eyes her face and her voice. My friend shot himself a year later after his daughter died from cardiac arrest. It’s not easy to lose a child
She's a strong woman. No parent especially a mother should have to bury their own child. Prayers and wishes to her continued growth and healing. RIP Jordan Manners
They looked at a black boy and assumed he was in a gang, they looked at a black boy and decided that he had something to do with his own murder, they looked at a black boy and gave themselves a million excuses why they shouldn't bother.
How could the school board have thought it was "okay" to remove a remorial tree in honour of a a student who had been brutally murdered on their grounds!!! I cannot wrap my head around that insensitive and inhumane decision. Something so sacrred and spiritual pulled up after a few years. Disgusting.
It's disgraceful that no police spoke to the mother. The mother of a child shot and murdered at school should be the first person the police should speak too. Are the RCMP racist?
+Queen Bulova But here the problem is not a lack of effort by police, is a lack of solidarity in the community. Witnesses are crucial in solving a case... how exactly you solve that when all those who know something refuse to talk? Everyone is talking about the attitude the police has towards black peoples, but completly ignore the attitude the black peoples have towards the police.
You speak to the child’s legal guardian ( FIRST)with compassion and respect...give your condolences...you tell them what you know and keep them posted. You just don’t ignore ..🙄🙄
Sickening how ignored this family was through the case and after. Hopefully this episode brings real local issues to light & motivates people to uphold better standards for ALL.
John Jones I agree with most of what you said but I do believe things are changing but yes I do believe the colour of your skin or where your from makes a difference I’m Turkish Cypriot and I am sometimes treated differently. And. KNOW I would be treated different if I didn’t look the way I do in certain situations. Just wanted to point that out 🙄🙄😂🙏🏻
Damn Canada!! I would never have expected this out of you guys!! Never spoke with the mother at all, isn't that step 1 in the investigation. See if he had anyone that wanted to do any harm. Didn't really investigate it either. Then destroyed the poor boys memorial and tried to lie about it. I'm not saying we're any better, but we would of spoke to the mother and kept the memorial. If we did get rid of it to build a park, we would of named the park after him. IJS.
This is the same canada that has an extensive history of covering up indiginous deaths, prostitute deaths, over policing racialized groups, subtle racism, blatant racism (60s scoop, africville, the treatment of japanese canadians) ,had residential schools until 1996... it is super sad but not all that surprising, we have issues too here
Ur telling me this school had no cameras...and no witnesses...im ary these are kids u as parents ask ur kids u make them answer u make them go to police u make them do the right thing PERIOD. THIS JUST IS BAFFLING... ITA 2007 NOT 1967 THERES A WAY TO GWT THE ANSWERS THIS MOM NEEDS AND DESERVES!
As long as his mom and those who love him are still alive, that boy’s life has meaning and will never be obsolete. *This case is utterly despicable in every possible manner, not the least of which is “professional” blaming the victim.*
+chryz love The witnesses are refusing to snitch, the cameras obviously don't exist, I mean it happened in the bathroom, so of course there is no camera there, the school is more interested in it's prestige, while the most crucial evidence - gunpowder residue on a on-scene witness was ignore ''because they didn't read his rights''....
The pain in this woman's eyes is unbearable, her son killed whilst at school and it remains unsolved?! Guns in schools, never heard of such thing in the UK. Someone, somewhere knows what happened. The school removing his tree and plaque, horrendous behavior. God bless this woman and her family and may the killer(s) NEVER rest in peace
Imagine being a sole witness and not come forward. "Supposed to be a family friends" that's the worst part. You are no family to a family you betrayed.
The lack of respect and dignity given to this mom is inexcusable. I really hate to second guess law enforcement but she should have been addressed immediately by someone from the department. What a strong lady, her son would be so proud of her for making the world a better place.
As a mom of four kids myself, watching this just breaks me. My babies may be 9 and under, but if I was treated the way this mom was....I probably would not be as strong as her. I wish I could go through the screen and just hug her, the pain is real and her son will never be forgotten❤️ Rest In Peace handsome young man ❤️ Jordan Manners...
This case broke my heart in a thousand pieces ... to see this mother, completely exhausted, disappointed before a system that basically turned its back on her. It is simply a nightmare that has no end. RIP Jordan. Much love all the way from Italy.
Continued prayers 🙏for this loving supportive mother and Justice for her beautiful sweet innocent Jordan . The world has lost a creative , kind loving young boy . The heavens have gained a angel ♥️
As if the fact that this mother was treated so poorly didn’t make the racism here obvious, the “black, white and purple” comment sure did. Disgusting. This poor mother!
I think it’s cause the other cases were about underage children. Even though Jordan was underage as well. It’s still very baffling why the comments for his story are on.
Yeah considering he was underage it is interesting , maybe it depends on the content of what is being said and as soon as it gets derogatory for a minor they turn them off(the comments seem very positive)
"it's a hard conversation to be a part of when we don't have answers for the family" what BS. how do you think the family feels to have the cops avoid them when their family member had DIED. Shameful.
And to the suspects, how often do y’all just roam the halls of schools you don’t attend? The suspects expect the public to believe they went into the school, called him away from the gymnasium, and into the bathroom to do what? Just chill and play with the gun?! How did they know where’d he’d be at that time? I’ll tell you how “someone inside told them and led them to him and they targeted him to kill him” not an accident. Investigate the “hall monitor” too! SMH 🤦🏽♀️ Not even a manslaughter conviction. They admitted to having the gun that killed him!
That poor mother was failed by every service & committee, the education board, even failed her by taking away Jordan's tree & plaque , even tho they gave him another tree & plaque, it doesn't matter, the damage is done!! This is atrocious!!🙄😏🤬🤬🤬
To be honest, that school had a brutal reputation toronto-wide (i dont know about now but I was a teen in that era), not that it is an justification in any way for what happened, but their perception sn't exactly how the rest of Toronto saw the school, maybe for the area it was a better choice though than the others. But it's true, violence can happen at literally any schools anyways.
This is just so wrong and so unfair my heart goes out to this poor woman. As if it wasn’t enough that her son died they took everything away, and replaced it with a “new” one. I would be devastated.
How you keep going? By the grace of God... Yes... I felt that.. Even thru all the grieving she still has faith... May he rest in peace and may God continue to strengthen you...
Melissa Good same I was 6 years old when this happen I remember my grandmother getting a call from a friend and we sat watching the news. I’m 19 now n watching this made me cry cause I remember this
@@itdseizing3170 THANK YOU ! I THOUGHT THIS WAS RECENT BUT CHRIST IS THE ANSWER TO EVERY LAST PROBLEM ON EARTH. HE IS ANGRY AND HAS MADE US PUT ON MASK TO COVER OUR BREATHING. HE IS NOT PLAYING WITH US. PRAY TO HIM WHILE WE HAVE A CHANCE.
14:00 Lead detective says he didn't speak to mother directly. Inexcusable. Because if there, for instance, had been death threats. Her other children could have been at risk.
One of the socalled "Lead" detectives said he didn't speak to the mother concerning her son because "when you dont have answers to provide a family, its a terrible conversation to be able to be a part of..." VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
my heart bleeds for you. Having recently experienced a loss, I realize that it NEVER goes away.....................I'm glad they replaced the memorial to your son
I can't even imagine the mother's pain and shattered heart. As a mother and grandmother myself, this is my worst nightmare. Sending prayers for mama and the family, and everyone affected. 💜💜💜
So every other episode the police were behind the families and very interactive with them. But now theyre sketchy and let the killers walk free?? They didn’t do what they were supposed to do.... his mother and family don’t get to get their closure she’s visibly hurting and they don’t care this is awful.
My heart is broken for Jordan's sweet mother who has such a broken heart on so many leavels, I send a hug and kiss to her and my prayers go out to all mothers feeling that kind of hurt, God Bless All of them..
I have watched a lot of tragic stories about moms and dads who have lost children to violence. They all break my heart but this mom, Jordan's mom, will stay with me forever.
That is the worst call a mother can receive. Two yrs ago I received news my baby boy has died. Five days ago my sister and I received a call her son has been shot. My baby is fighting for his life as I’m typing this comment. My heart and prayers goes out to this beautiful mother.
This is incredible that the Police Dept didn't go speak with the mother of this child , no reassurance that this will be solved can't help but wonder if it was because he was Black
Lorraine's chill demeanor is remarkable. All of that hurt raging under that calm, collected exterior. She's such a strong woman who exemplifies that motherhood is a superpower.
