One video dedicated to Ujjayi pranayam in the same way please! You are simply the best! I have not found such clear instructions anywhere else! I might be a culprit to most of the views here coz i do this pranayam daily hearing this video😜please make individual pranayam practises videos like this. They are super helpful🥰

Hey Rashmi one question. Would you advise deep breathing or belly breathing for someone to calm down when he is standing or sitting in an uncomfortable position? Or deep/belly breathing should be practiced only when sitting with the back straight?

Spoorthi, does that happen to you when you practise Anulom Vilom at the end of your Asana Practice because that is pretty common. And of course, our Body is so different, Every Day is a New Day, sometimes i can exhale upto 10 or 12 counts and some days upto 8 or probably 6 only. And after cardio or Asana Practice or intense flow, sometimes 4 only. Sometimes even if mind is distracted with thoughts during Anulom Vilom, Exhalation becomes shorter. Just sharing my personal experiences. 😊 Just stay focused, I am sure your Exhalations will become longer. 😊

I’ll tell you an easy trick. Partially close the nostril that you are exhaling from so that the air passage becomes narrower. You will be able to exhale for a longer duration. Try it and let me know if it worked 😊

@@YogalatesWithRashmi yes it works, but sometimes when I complete 1 round and then start again inhaling from the left nostril a lill bit sound of inhalation produce not too much is it okay and same with the right side.

If you do it regularly ideally you shouldn’t have shoulder pain. Please get someone to check if your form is correct.

I live in France and am attending Yoga class with a French Yoga instructor. There she teaches s posture is upside down the head against wall. I don't enjoy this pose and wonder what's the benefits from doing it, which I found rather risky.
