These daily gratitude affirmations are designed to be used at any time to get yourself into a positive frame of mind. Gratitude is one of the most powerful, yet underutilized emotions. Cultivating gratitude in your life can have transformative effects on everything, from physical health outcomes to intimacy and career success.
There are many different ways to practice gratitude, such as using a gratitude journal, daily affirmations or simply counting your blessings. Our brain's default is to look for the negative, so a gratitude practice can really make a difference to your mind, increasing positive thought due to looking for the good things in your life. Doing this on a regular basis can help you live a longer life, sleep better and increase your happiness.
Cultivating gratitude is good for you and others. It is an area that that religions and scientists agree upon, gratitude improves mood, motivation, relationships with others and your sleep.
Making gratitude a daily habit makes sense for your health and wellbeing. It can be difficult to find the time and energy on busy days to truly think about, contemplate and feel gratitude. This set of gratitude affirmations makes it easier for you. In less than ten minutes you'll become attuned to the good things in your life.
When we focus on the things that are going well in our life, it boosts our wellbeing. The power of appreciation turns negative thoughts into positive thinking. It's an easy way to change your mindset.
All that is needed is to genuinely notice small things you appreciate about your life. Your brain has an amazing capacity to learn new habits and skills, so if you are not used to being grateful or having a sunny outlook on life, neuroplasticity means your nervous system can acquire this new skill through repetition. That's why I've called this video 'daily' gratitude affirmations. By practicing gratitude for a few minutes each day with the power of positive affirmation, you can train your brain to start noticing the abundance, wonderful things and blessings already in your life.
Healthy optimism extends your life.
You don't have to believe these positive affirmations, but you can just allow them to jolt your thinking so you can consider something else to be true other than your automatic thinking style.
