@Kitten Lyric How did he shame it? The man chose to run for the presidency for the sake of the American people despite knowing his brand would take a hit based on partisanship. For example, even someone like Former President Obama admitted that the American dream is to be like Trump. No, he didn't shame his name. Give me your best example on how he did it.
JR must have thought that christmas had come early. I love Bobby's behaviour here backing Pamela up yet making sure she played it straight with him while speaking in private.
Exactly! He's never made it a secret that he never liked Pam from the beginning. From the fact that she was a Barnes woman marrying into the Ewing family to having a psychopath of a sister to having a worm for a brother, there was nothing about Pam he liked. But then again when it came to Jenna Wade, JR loved Jenna Wade for Bobby.
YOU KNOW PEOPLE SAY THAT LYNDA CARTER FARRAH FAWCETT PAM GRIER JUST TO SAY A FEW OF BEAUTIFUL WOMEN 1970s BUT IN MY OPINION VICTORIA PRINCIPAL WAS SO DAMM FINE 💘
Pam should have told Bobby the truth and they should have checked to make sure that the First Marriage was annulled. What was so ironic is how "upset" she got when Bobby started spending time with Jenna Wade #1 (then Played by Morgan Fairchild). She also should have known that in those days JR would have done anything to get rid of her and having this information was ammunition to him.
@trha2222 exactly right. she started looking all sinewy . but those early seasons.....man oh man. even JR used to like watching her do the backstroke in the pool
Larry Hagman was a Full Fledged alcoholic, going all the way back to I Dream Of Jeannie. He would be totally trashed on the set while filming the show, flipping out over the scripts. I Dream Of Jeannie turned him into a madman!
But then again, this was not JR's fault. Her first husband came to HIM, not JR coming to him, and pretty much told him everything. JR just take advantadge, and confirmed everything that her first husband said. Continuing, I hated how Bobby ALWAYS came to defense of Pam. I mean, seriously stop being so self-righteous all the time. Stop thinking your wife can be so damn perfect all the time. Recognize that like anybody else she has flaws just like well you do.
I love the comment, stated about Jock, if he was alive, and could see what John Ross became as a man, he would kick the shit out of him. I agree, 100%. A weakling
Pam would have been about 25 or 26 at this time. It was 10 years earlier that she married this guy, making her 15 or 16 at the time. Being a minor she would have had to get parental permission to get married. However, she said Digger found out after the fact, meaning she did not get permission. Maybe Mexico has different laws about the age a person can get married. Otherwise, that alone should be grounds for annulment.
orangewizard I was under the impression that Pam was born in 1953. It was in November of 1952 that Pam's biological father Hutch McKinney was killed by Digger Barnes while Digger's wife was pregnant with Pamela.
La majorité est à 21 ans à l époque de pamela sauf peut être au Mexique mais le mariage n est pas légal aux usa d après ce que je sache ce mariage aurait été simplement annulée ou non valable sans passer par les instances juridiques
I know several people who married far too young or too quickly and wound up divorcing within a couple of years. These sorts of mistakes used to happen more often than now and shouldn't be anything to be embarrassed about or shamed over.
@@gingerjones111... Yes, when people actually bother to obtain a proper legal divorce, and not a quickie in a foreign country or mishandled by some clown. But, my entire point was a general one and clearly stated in my second sentence.
That was also the era where they couldn't decide what tone to make his lips. Only Patrick Duffy could make this work. Oddly in the late 1970s early 1980s Patrick Duffy did not need any makeup!
Pam called his bluff. She said she left Bobby to be with him. Of course Ed Haynes only wanted money as he paid the Court Clerk to hide the annulment papers. Eventually, Cliff found the copy at Aunt Maggie's but by then Ed was long gone.
