Deck Review: The Green Witch Tarot Pt 1 Major Arcana 

I love everything about the Green Witch Tarot. The significant changes to the Devil and Tower cards and shift from Fool to Green Man and from Magician to Witch fit my worldview. But something not so much touched on in the video is just how outstanding this book is that goes with these cards. Wicca and Celtic imagery and understanding are well described and thought out and truly help you connect even more with the images and symbols of this deck. I find this deck so wonderful I’m actually purchasing it for those in my life who read tarot. So far, I have bought three. I highly recommend it for those who want a deck that parallels their spirituality in pagan and Wiccan thought and identity.

I so very much enjoyed the walk throughs (part 1 and 2). You did an amazing job and I was sad they weren’t longer! I could have listened to you describe the cards all day. I’m much later to the game than you were, because I’ve only had mine for about two weeks. I love them even more after watching your videos? …vlogs? …whatever they are supposed to be called. 😆 Thank you ☺️

Maybe the term green witch means a earthy type witch not the color green.

This looks like a very interesting deck. I like the extra symbols and information on the plants and animals.

I'm so happy you got this deck and the walkthru was GREAT! I don't say I'm a Witch, I don't actually practice many rituals but do have strong pagan, Old Ways respect. Druidism and Earth Magic is part of my core as a being. :) Guess that's how I found and fell in love with your channel ❤️👍and I feel same way about labels today (can be very trendy!) so that's why it's so easy to want to learn from so many ancient cultural aspects for introspection and reconnection to the elements and earth...just sayin...enjoyed this walk through very much and I totally appreciate this deck. Reminds me of the Tarot of the Old Path but with a very fresh, much richer, vibrant and symbolic art that I love. Beautiful deck :) thank you :)

In Thoth tarot the fool is represented like a green Man.

The box has changed. It has a magnet built in to keep it closed and opens from the front. I picked this tarot deck because it called to me.

Thank you so much for this review. I've watched it a couple times while waiting for mine to arrive, and it came in today. Not sure if people are aware, but the 3rd edition is different. It's in a magnetic closure box like the Illuminati Tarot. And the card stock is now thinner. It's thinner than my Steampunk Tarot. Wasn't what I was expecting, but in a good way. Thank you! Great review. The oak king I think makes a great hanged man as it reminds me of Odin hanging upside down on the tree to get the runes.

I truly love the Green Witch tarot, I actually worked with it today already, the only thing I don't like about it is that it has an old lady that represents me lol! The Queen of Wands. :( It is absolutely amazing though that my familiar which is an american goldfinch, is depicted in that card even though it is said to be an oriole, it looks a lot like a male goldfinch. I found that to be absolutely incredible and almost too coincidental.

yay! you finally went for the set! I'm glad :-) by the way, did you see how many of us on my channel were charging you guilty for purchasing so many decks that we would have never thought of getting otherwise? lol! I like the blue color on the book, I think it complements the green color well, it is from the same family of colors, and having it the same color as the box would take away from the image on the book which is I think why they probably made that decision. to me, just because it is about the green witchery, it doesn't mean everything has to be the actual color of green... you know what I mean? Hello I received the Witches tarot today, I love this game. But it turns out that the card "The King of pentacle" has a small tear behind. I do not know how to do ? I have a few questions, to remedy it: - Should I only use the major arcana, is that okay? - Do I have to draw with my eyes closed?

Ah I hate how they changed the name for the cards. Not beginner friendly at all. I also wish it wasnt so wiccan based. You dont have to be wiccan to be a witch
