And Josh McDaniels knew that which is why the Raiders took him in case Carr regresses..regressed... Sadly Mac Jones needs to get his timing in the pocket and Awareness up fast because this lineman by committe and 2 defensive coordinators running the offense isn't doing him any favors. Also he lobs the ball to much, he needs to work on Arm Strength and fast...Other wise I heard Bailey has friends in high places. .

I've always thought there should be an adjustment in INT stats. Any INT hurts your passer rating a ton, and on this one, Zappe hit Ahgelor right in the hands. I think those "not the QB's fault" INT's should go to the receiver, lol. Also, desperation 50-yard heaves into the Endzone shouldn't count against the QB is the Hail Mary throw is intercepted. Again, not his fault.

And things soften up for us now which is nice. It’ll be interesting to see the browns game since they are an amazing defense but mediocre offense I’m curious to see if we can stop the run. Then bears jets colts jets. Hopefully we can go 4-1 in that stretch and keep our season alive, idk if any less than 11 wins gets you in the playoffs this year with fins, chargers, bengals, raiders, jets, and prolly browns all looking to compete for a wildcard. It’s awesome as an nfl fan that the league is so competitive that 3-2 teams are contenders while 2-3 teams are dead. Wins are hard to come by this year

My guy. I agree B2 is god. But, this lions offense isn’t that good. Dan Campbell so little trusted his defense, he put the game on the leg of his feeble kicker over punting and asking them to stop a 90 yard drive vs the Vikings. Instead Campbell’s brilliance was running up the score in every game so the defense didn’t have to be on the field. That was the master plan. TRUST ME. Belly merely solved Ben Johnson the way that usually happens in week 5-6 with any new unknown coordinator. And it’s all downhill from here for Detroit I take ZERO away from BB. Goat. But this offense was a disaster waiting to happen

This love for the old logo is very prevalent among our fans, and strange. I watched our Pats back in the Jim Plunkett and Sam Bam Cunningham days too. The Pats were one of the sorriest franchises in the NFL. We were the league door mats, and our Sullivan Stadium was a laughing stock all around the league. Fast forward to Kraft, Bill Parcells, Bledsoe, then Belichick and Brady, and suddenly the Patriots were the league's most feared team. Everyone looked up to us and our Flying Elvis logo. They tried to call us the Hated Cheaters because we were always so good and no one could beat us. Then, Brady left, and we've been below .500 since that time. But now everyone wants to bring back Pat Patriot. Why? Are we going for the lovable losers vibe again? Do we want to go back to the puny little team that tries really hard but can't win anything? It's strange to me that, now that we are on the decline and the dynasty is over, we want to go back to the uni's and logos we had when we sucked all the time.

I hate the 60s throwback. I like the 90s one as far as throwbacks go. The current is my favorite.

He's not making any reads, those are one read plays, and his arm doesn't look any different than Mac. They idiot proofed the offense for him, that's all. If they called these kind of plays for Mac, he'd look the same, but he wouldn't have missed every deep throw like Zappe did.

Mac wouldn't have made deep throws. He looks no worse than Mac did in his second game. As for reads, maybe they limited some stuff like they would for any qb coming off being a 3rd string guy, but even high school qbs make reads, if the guy couldn't make a read he would've have even gotten a college start. When multiple receivers run on the play there are reads to make and he made them. I don't recall a single play where only 1 receiver was out there running they way you put it with "no reads." Is he Tom Brady, no, but can compete against another qb right about his age for the starting/backup job? Yeah. Jones likely has the better mind for the game, that's what he's known for, but Zappe has the much better arm and seemingly an ok mind too. Mac looked rough this year and Zappe has looked better than him so far regardless of what you want to think about a dumbed down offense (the same way it was dumbed down for Mac in his first few weeks too btw).

@@bpdmf2798 while mac maybe smarter I think Bailey keeps his cool better even when he was getting blitzed. Especially after the int he did good. He was also making good reads. I think we could have scored more if we threw it a tad bit more than what we did. Some of the run plays where definitely questionable. But I’m happy with the win.
