Luck of the Irish is such a throwback. The og Troy Bolton. Yes. “Shout out to my uncle” is me whenever I see Ming-Na Wen in anything, but “hey, mom”. “He comes from colonizers”. Billy! 🤣 Giving me Shuri vibes when she tells Agent Ross “shut up, colonizer”.

The Luck of the Irish is one of the best DCOM's they made and when they all sang This Land is Your Land was amazing, Billy you should do the underrated dcom "The Ultimate Christmas Present" next month #Bingers

Man if Ryan Merriman was popping up in the Disney project it was guaranteed to be a good one. I used to watch this every time it came on. I even gave Pretty Little Liars a chance because he was in it and I hadn’t seen him since Final Destination 3.

They literally just could have said they were part Irish and part whatever the dad was and he wouldn’t have nearly so curious.

Being of Irish descent, this was one of my favorite movies.

Lassie! Had no idea Timothy Omundson from Psych was in this. This is where he perfected that Lassiter glare. Might have to do a Psych rewatch. I love watching old movies and tv shows and recognizing actors you know from other, newer properties.

This was one of them bomb ass movies that were overplayed on Disney and then years later everyone randomly forgot about it 😩

If you liked the main character in this you’re gonna like the DCOM “Smart House” I would be VERY interested in seeing you react to that. #bingers

I found $50 on the bar floor when I was cleaning it on New Years. I turned it into the boss and he shoved it back at me and said that I deserved that money because of how messy they made the bar that night(which, TBH, was DISASTROUS!)

I loved this movie but was always terrified of the evil guy lol. But billy should totally watch SLEEPOVER with Alexa Vega (at the time). I could only imagine his commentary. #bingers

I learned that actually a lot of Irishmen were promised wages and provided transport, and when they came to the US they often got taken for their wages and had to work for free to pay their debts with interest. Same with Italian immigrants.

I saw a women drop $100 at my old job but she left the store too fast for me to catch her. I told my boss and she took it and said if the woman didn’t come back I could have it. Well she didn’t come back and my boss kept it. Never turn money in to your boss just to be a nice person.

Absolutely loved this movie growing up. I think this movie is what made me ask my parents about our heritage.

I was walking home from work one day and I noticed some paper in a puddle that looked like money so I reached down to grab it, realized it was a 100 dollar bill, on instinct I looked down a again and BAM another 100 right there! I snatched that one up too and booked it home lol.

The one thing that bothers me about this movie when on rewatch is like...he finds out his dad's from Cleveland. I was born and raised there...you don't just...become a Browns fan, you're cursed with that at birth. It just bothered me

The thing about the "Luck of the Irish" is that, historically, it's not very good

yeah, hard to figure out why Disney really dropped off actual movies, and are now trying to do live action remakes of their animated. I remember fondly Eddie's million dollar cookoff, a movie where a kid ended up cloning himself with a contaminated sea monkey kit from a store. Not sure who started the honey I shrunk the kids series.
