Here's a double kettlebell clean, squat press done at The Training Room of Avon by the sea, New Jersey. This lift is done with two 48 kg kettlebells which is equivlent to 212 lbs of total weight. www.trainingroomonline.com
1 rep max has huge effect. Go try it before you know it. You will feel like he does, "almost passing out". once you know how much that weighs, just lining up to do it will hurt and will make you shake your head and think of all the reasons why you don't want to do this at this time. Double beasts take the soul out of you; most people can't even come close.
damn dude, it's crazy how challenging I know so many people that can shoulder barbell press 200 pounds but trying to do that with kettlebells is sooo different. Nice work sir
I'm impressed by two things - 1) the lift. Let's see the haters on here so much as clear their waist when swinging ONE of those and 2) damn, son, you just pressed like $700 worth of kettlebells!
I can barely do a 100 lb kettlebell with both hands, let alone 1 in each friggin hand. mad respect, your body size to strength ratio is off the charts.
60 lbs.= 27 kg. He's doing 106 lbs in each hand. Did we forget to spend 20 seconds on google before we told the world about how weak and stupid we were? Yes, yes we did!
The problem with kettlebells is that they all look more or less the same and people are so unfamiliar with them that they have no concept of how truly heavy and impressive the feat they are watching is.
It's crazy strong and I admit I may not even reach that level of strength (I'm just starting and I can barely press a single 32 kg bell at 180 lb bw) but I really want to see this with good form i.e. no jumping and the press is not jerked up. Still, 2 x 48 kg is 2 x 106 lb and that's monstrous in my book.
anima099 wtf do you mean good form? You're stupid as fuck. Jeeez man people like you annoy the shit out of me, and you're right, you never will reach this level of strength, because your ego issues are so fucked that you'll likely quit looooong before then. Btw, try being less stupid, it might help you a bit. FOR INSTANCE- before feeling threatened by someone's achievement and feeling the need to attempt to take something away from that persons achievement (ex. Criticizing their "form" with a backhanded compliment/subtle chirp.) realize that there is more than one exercise, and that this is the correct form for said exercise. Got it? Moron..
27Kg in each arm, with both kettle bells together your lifting 6Kg more than he does with one arm. Your strong but no where near as strong as the dude in the vid. He lifts a 105 pounds in each arm.
Hi there, have you heard about "Musclegend" (just search Google)? There you will find a smart free video demonstrating the best way to develop notable lean muscle fast while burning unwanted fat as well. Steve is one of the countless guys that enjoyed great results utilizing this method. It may work for you too.
As if you can't use a piece of a equipment for more than one thing. People are so fucking dumb when it comes to weights. You can even do high or low reps with barbells! Holy shit imagine that!
Kettle bell press in this manner will eventually damage your wrists, far..too much pressure due to the twist. Stick with dumbells for the normal press and you will be fine. Nice feat of strength though
