Same, I have run a summer camp for 3 summers and we didn't need this much food and we fed them two snacks besides meals.

Here we would typically have rice for lunch, then something in the afternoon like small cakes/sandwiches/fish crackers/banana fritters for tea. That's what I was referring to. I suppose it's not as heavy as a proper meal, but it would require more prep than a snack.

I despise family vloggers too, but this is a grey area and the language is going to vary, when speaking about how our kids joined our families. We don’t need the criticism.

I’m an adoptive mom and we say “when they came to live with us”. Because it is the only way to respect the life before us in a way that makes it clear there is no ownership or dismissal of what they have been through. Our therapist taught us this. Surely these adoptive parents have therapists helping them navigate through everything these kids need.

I comparably have a tiny family-3+2cats and a dog, but my budget is $160 every two weeks. It's always a balancing act to get snacks compared to another meal or health and beauty item (shampoo/deordorant/woman products)that is needed. In a way I'm blessed because my teenage daughter would rather have veggies over pasta. Frozen and canned veggies see my house more than fresh unless it's from mine or my sister's garden in the summer. I barely get my daughter to eat cheese on pizza. I don't understand how this woman isn't shopping sales more. I'm starting to think that she does most of the food on EBT and isn't showing it.

I suspect that the kids take extras to school and give it out to their friends. ???? I mean I hope that rather than it ends up in the bin

the velvetta annoys me a lot because it’s so unhealthy! it should not be a regular thing, it should be a quick sometimes meal for when you are feeling tired or lethargic! alicia feeds the children way too much processed food, when everything comes in a packet it’s not good for you, healthy or balanced at all.

Most of the kids especially the younger ones only eat mac&cheese and ramen….that’s why she makes noodles with almost everything and with every meal she makes there’s mac&cheese, lo mein, ramen etc too that she doesn’t show on camera…on thanksgiving the only thing Alex ate was the shitty crockpot mac&cheese she made
