Ugh this made me sick. The manager where I worked at when I was 15 years old, who was a family friend mind you, gave me a ride home and it was scary as hell. I trusted this guy. My mom trusted him. He had his car locked from the inside so I couldn't get out. He took me way out to a country road and was trying to get me to do things. It was terrifying. Only way he stopped was because my name came up on his police scanner because my mom called the cops. It was 2 in the morning and the place I worked at closed hours before. He said don't bother telling anyone. I'm friends with all the cops in town. I didn't come forward til a year later when I found out he did this to other girls. We all got together and took him to court. It was awful. This idiot was 30 years old with 5 kids. He got a slap on the fkn wrist. Wtf.

Could you imagine being one of the kids that “went to sleep already” and hearing all this fun commotion going on and NOT being able to enjoy it with them…so sad.

I'm a teacher at a title one school. As many times as students have asked me for a ride, I am not legally allowed to give them one. I'm also not supposed to be alone with them ever. I'm a female, but even I know, regardless of gender, don't be alone with a minor that is not your child. Common sense

Education 101: Never transport a student in your car or host them in your home. As a teacher myself, I'm sure that Josh is violating school district policies.

Saddest thing ever when Dash calls out to everyone and 2 kids show up. 💔😔 Is Alicia even there?😳 Birthdays were a huge deal growing up with 7 kids. We'd all be around the dinner table (even if it was just for the cake) to actually celebrate that sibling. The whole thing - lights off, one of us carrying in the lit cake, etc. This is too sad. No planning, and Alicia definitely could care less and just wants to get through it.

By bringing a student home, they are also putting their teenage sons at risk of false allegations.

I had a neighbor who was a teacher and coach. He got in trouble. The cops literally hauled away his car and all electronic devices. I don't know if the accusations were real or not, but he lost everything...his career, his wife, his house and his reputation.

I know it has nothing to do with this video, but I feel SO damn bad for those two poor dogs that have to live in that chaotic house. James appears to be the only one who is chill. :(

What happenned to the 20+ kids she said she invited? She bought like 50 glow necklaces so they wouldnt get lost in the crowd. She mentioned a few times..."well its just us" and there were too many tables and food set up just for them. Did literally all of them not come and not bother to tell her? That is low and so disappointing for Dash. No wonder she looked disappointed the whole time and like she didnt know what to do with herself. Even his cousins were a no show. Are all their friends getting tired of being filmed perhaps? No wonder she deleted the shopping video..hopeing no one would notice no one showed up like she said they would. She said in the shopping video she had invited school friends and his cousins.

I've been missing the DD snark, and there is so much to comment on lately. The birthday debacle was actually quite sad. No excitement or thanks from D at all. I don't even think Josh was there while the presents were being opened. Such a disfunctional family

When your mom is actually the producer/director of a series called "Your Life". As a kid, I hated the attention I got on birthdays. I truly dreaded it and I felt horrible and drained afterwards. Absolutely despised it and it always outweighed any enjoyment I had. And that was when my family's attention was on me, not millions of strangers judging me. I would despise my mom if she set a camera on a tripod focused solely on me opening presents. At 8 years old I wouldn't have understood exactly what it meant but I would have realized once I got older and I would have been absolutely mortified.

As a Soccer Coach, number 1 rule- you are never to be alone with a Player alone (Male or Female).

The amount of gifts these kids get is just wild... It was christmas not even a month ago..

It is the first time I see the dad being calm and lovely with the kids. When he is opening the gifts he talks nicely to them and gives them attention. Is is just a coincidence there's only bio kids? This is sad.

THERE IS NO REASON TO EVER GO HOME WITH A COACH OR TEACHER!!! Inappropriate off the bat. Not good for anyone involved. That’s literally teaching 13 or more children that it’s okay to blur the boundaries when it comes to school and work. Wether there’s accusations or not it creates confusion. I watched this happen in real life.

My kids (2girls) always appreciated their gifts so much they cried of happiness. We always got a thank you and hugs after each gift. My grandkids are the same way. It warms my heart. It’s all in the parenting! Love your videos Josh ❤

I am a retired teacher too. It was against school policy to transport any child in your personal vehicle due to insurance issues AND the possibility of false accusations. I’m SO glad I found your channel. The DD reels were showing up on my FB timeline and I thought WHO in the sweet cornbread is this family. God bless these children as they “appear” to need a lot of love attention. A child should not have to yell to be seen or heard. Do better DD family.

As a former 22year school employee and still a volunteer. NEVER take a student in your vehicle and if in an emergency we ALWAYS had 2staff members in the car .

As a teacher myself, he is violating so many ethical standards and professional boundaries by inviting his student to his home and being alone with her after school hours. You always need to protect yourself - I don't even allow myself to be in a classroom alone with a student without the classroom door open. He clearly needs a refresher course on the basics of the profession.

It's crazy that nobody in her life can make her understand the damage she's doing. As a kid my dad would take me for lobster on my birthday every year, it was so special and I would get excited leading up to it. As an adult I own a boat and we have lobster traps- unlimited lobster, and I haven't eaten a bite of lobster in years because I'm just over it. It completely took any specialness away from it.

Her videos has made me so thankful I grew up dirt poor. For so many reasons

The only time I ever went to a male teacher's house was in high school and it was because I was friends with his son and it was said son's graduation party. All of us still said it felt weird. I took brass lessons from my band director and he always kept all the doors open and they happened during the school day (plus his classroom was a revolving door of students coming in or spending study halls in there anyways) it's just a common courtesy we have to have for each other now.

I think she overcompensates with the non bio’s. Partly that, but I also think she is burnt out from Christmas and then the 4+ birthdays this month 😂

I'm not accusing or insinuating anything about the Doughnuts dad however my best friend was welcomed into his middle school teacher's home for YEARS and was abused during the entire time. The optics of this interaction are poor Mr. Doughnut. Protect your family and students better.

Hi Josh, before I became terminally ill I was a primary school teacher and we are not allowed to be alone with any student, boy or girl. You are not allowed to touch them including a handshake, pat on the back or shoulder to say well done etc. I found this really hard because I taught new entrants (5 year olds) and the kids would always run up to me to give me a cuddle when they first get to school, when they hurt themselves, scared without having a parent there I'm the one caring for them not just academically but also helping them with the major transition of kindy, daycare or when the children haven't been in a setting without their parents. So at the beginning of the year I talk to each parent to discuss what they want me to do and then sign a contract to that affect. When I've taught older students there was no need to do any of that as they are independent and I wouldn't risk it. I remember when I was 12 I had a teacher who made the girls change for PE in the classroom and he always came back into the room when he knew we were changing even though we did it as fast as possible. He would push us, yell, humiliate, talk inappropriately to us etc. There were so many parents who complained but nothing changed. A few parents complained and two kids were placed in another class but they couldn't do that for all of us. I didn't tell my parents what was going on because I saw how he managed to still emotionally and physically bully the two students who were moved to another class so I was too scared. He liked teaching gymnastics after-school and because I hadn't told my parents what was happening they insisted I do it every week and one week I twisted my ankle. When he saw I was walking home he made me get into his car so he could drive me home. I tried to say Mum was picking me up etc but it didn't work. He had taken some of the other girls (never the boys) home so I knew that his passenger door couldn't be opened and that the seat was broken and you had to either hold yourself sitting up or stay laid back. I was so scared and that was when I told my parents and I didn't do gymnastics after that. That was 32 years ago and the one thing that was positive about that year was that I studied hard because we had hours of homework to do and I met my best friend and we are basically sisters still to this day. All of that to say that no child should have to be put in that situation with anyone that has authority.

The best part of the D&B party is she said she didn’t order the food it came with the party package yet in a video she posted earlier that day told a break down of what food she ordered 🤦🏻‍♀️
