Wallace famous, but not very rich, just like Elvis! He let Biggie eat, smoke ,drink and spend money to excess!! Not really taking care of himself!! Then Puff Daddy figured out how to lure Biggie into a death trap in LA on March 9th,1997!! And the only person that got really Rich, was Puff Daddy!! He also exploited Biggie's legacy by re-issuing Biggie's music catalog and stealing Biggie's publishing and master recordings!!! I'm sure Biggie is in Hell, waiting for Puff Daddy so he can get revenge on him! Puff ran through that traffic light and left Biggie at that light and he was a sitting duck!! Where was Biggie's bullet proof vest, armor plated bullet proof SUV, professional armed security??!!! Biggie had no business in LA, months after Tupac Shukur was murdered in Las Vegas!!!!!! Col. Tom Parker is definitely in HELL!!!!! Rest in Heat, you fat lying, greedy scumbag!!

All things considered I think Rob does a pretty good job at Elvis. He doesn’t not anything like him but in terms of spirit and energy he does far better than most actors especially for a made for TV movie.

The very best elvis clone I ever saw was kurt Russell 1977. He talked like him. He act like him. And he really looked liked him.

i personally appreciate all these comments because I was one of the other 2 guys that casting & the producers had narrowed down their choices to & they were seriously considering me to play elvis in this movie, I am 100% Serious. Of course I was disappointed not to get the role & Rob youngblood is avery good Actor & nice guy but definitely not right for the role because he's just not the right look but even after all that, one of the producers tells me a year later that they felt Rob looked most like Elvis & that just tells you how warped their perception is.

Kurt Russell did a pretty good job playing Elvis At least I think so.

I always wonder how different Elvis is life would have been if his Mom had only lived a few years longer. His Dad always had his best interest at heart, but he was in WAY over his head!! Sold his soul to the devil. They were no how to videos back in the day for Elvis, he did good for what he had to work with.

There were alot of movies that made alot of famous actors Famous that were offered to Elvis first! Parker priced Elvis out of those movies with his greed and also convinced Elvis they wouldn't be good for his career. Then tied him up with a 5yr contract with fluff films! That was the beginning of holding Elvis back in his career. The people that offered the good film parts to Elvis recognized his acting talent. If you look at Elvis career Parker kept Elvis from doing the very things he wanted to do.

While I was watching this it occurred to me I wonder how Gladys health went down the tubes so quickly after Elvis was in the army? Wonder if the colonel had anything to do with it? It doesn’t show what the colonel did while Elvis was gone to visit Gladys and Vernon? Gladys isn’t here to say and Vernon wouldn’t have said anyway. He could have visited and worried Gladys till she was drinking. Alcohol was a issue on that side of the family. Several have said so. I can’t help but wonder?

While Elvis was in basic training in the army so he can go to Germany for two years, his mother worried of losing her second son *(Because she all ready lost her first son, Jesse, from being stillborn and being born a few minutes before he was actually born. Fact here, Elvis was actually a twin but he lost him, now Elvis is an only child and his mom told him when he was a baby that he would have the strength of two men.)* , so while Elvis was away, she worried and drank until her body gave out. Go ahead and watch the new Elvis biopic movie, it'll give out more information about Elvis's life before and after he became huge.
