I love your mentality. It’s your adventure, you do what you want to do, eat where you like and go where you want, but still with respect for the fact that you’re a visitor. Keep it up!
Evening from Helensburgh! Biker here also, but no way I could do what you're doing/done! Cap doffed. Keep the videos coming & best of British for your ongoing adventures.
Great vids. I think that the police just wanted to be authorative. There was no need to tell you to go. I’ve had a lot of dealings with these people in uniform and abuse their authority. But then, you can’t argue with them
Really enjoying your videos, I recommend watching itchy boots she has some excellent videos along your route, it might give you some ideas of places to visit?
enjoy watching your videos, im heading that way in summer for 3 months solo on my tiger, great to see what route your taking and some costings, can you do a short talk on the information i have to bring and any visas i need to apply for as im unsure especially when you reach Mauritania & the Gambia,,,, oh just so you know SCOTLAND is very cold haha! enjoy keep safe .
You dont need a visa for Morocco - you get it on the ferry as you cross from Spain. As for Mauritania, Senegal and The Gambia, you get visa's at the border. I'll do an episode with costings and kit etc on the return trip.
Surely you didn’t park the bike with the back wheel of the concrete? How did the back wheel end up sunk in to the hub? Did it not cover your chain in sand? Thks
I rode on the tiled pavement that runs AROUND the hotel and at the back of the hotel the pavement finished with a gap of about 10m comprising of dirt and then a concrete run onto the road. Unfortunately the soil was mostly soft sand and when I give it some welly to get onto the concrete I dug the back wheel-in, up to the hub. Aye, the chain was covered too. Mind you, the chain has been through alot so its on its last legs. I've brought a new one with me which I'm going to change when I service her in a few weeks time.
