When a p plater driving a falcon/commodore with half a million k's on it pulls up next to another driving an old bmw/merc/audi that's falling apart, you know your life is in immediate danger

I don’t think there is a single P plater who has filled out there logbook truthfully

For those who don't know what a P-plate is, it means "provisional driver". You get your red Ps after your Ls for one year and then you get your green Ps for three years. After this, you obtain your full license and are now irritated by anything with an "L" or "P" on it.

God I miss Australia: I remember my daughter learning to drive in my Commodore SVZ going south from the Gold Coast to Sydney. I have never been so scared, and I’ve walked through Logan, at night!

Not to forget, drive in peak hour traffic but pick fights with absolutely everyone els on the road coz you're running late for something VERY important, accelerate as fast as possible, brake as late as possible, change lanes as early or late, depending on how close you can cut in on the vehicles in every lane imaginable. You might get to your destination a few seconds sooner than not risking a heart attack or brain meltdown

Some dropkick in my year at high school did 70 in the school zone and had the cops called on him. Since then he’s crashed at least two commodores.

For those that don't know, here's how driving in Australia works. L = Learner Driver. Stay on this stage for a year before you upgrade to P-plate. This one sucks, it's basically the tutorial, you have to have a full licence driver with you at all times, can't do much here. P = Provisional Driver. Red P is basically P1, you stay on this stage for another year, just an upgraded version of L-plate. After a year you can upgrade to Green P (P2). Green P is just an elite version of the other two with even more perks, but you stay on this one for 2 years if you have a clean driving record (no fines, tickets, suspensions, etc.), but if you do have some sort of infraction, you have to stay on Green P for 3 years, maybe more if you suck that much at driving. Full Licence is just a normal driver, and now you hate non-full licence drivers, congratulations! :)

Its amazing how P sticker and baby on board is universally accepted as "get as far away from this driver as possible". 😂

As a p plater myself, this is indeed true. However I was blessed to find a good old 80s German tank to whiz around in. Def not a bogan mobile but she sure is a looker. As for P plater cars, Corollas are a pain in the ass when you encounter them

Victorian p-platers are a different breed. My grandma drives faster and gets through a roundabout more smoothly without holding up traffic for 69 metres behind them.

As a Queenslander I can confirm that I see P-platers doing the most dumb shit in parking lots or on a highway. (the holden commadore P- platers)
