It really is fitting. KOF xiii could have been the last KOF. And with a grand finals this hype, with a song literally titled Goodbye, Esaka? I myself think this would have been an excellent way to send off the franchise. Definitely a grand send-off for the 2d sprites.
@@rubemevangelista3868ohmygod,i'm not the only one!Reynald losing the first two and then winning the next 6 in a row right after goodbye esaka starts playing(you can also replace GE with ex kyo) makes me feel like this theme is the ultimate comeback theme.
Unless SNK fix their balancing issues to avoid all this meta-gaming tier whoring picks, then the chance of KoF getting this hype again is just too low man.
There was just something special about Reynald in this GF. I'm not sure how to explain it but he was in his zone entirely, and once he got started, he understood and completely destroyed his opponent...both mentally and in execution. It was almost as if he was transcending and entering a different state of mind. I could feel it...right through the screen...mostly because I've done that before myself...if that makes any sense.
Beyond the obvious modernday term of ultra instinct, the proper term is "flow state". Conscious thought takes a backseat to raw muscle memory. It's difficult to achieve, but nothing feels more gratifying.
KOF Top 8 and Marvel Top 8 were the best. I was watching this live at 4am in the morning. Reynalds switch to EXKyo was a brilliant idea. Watching Hee San Woo crumble was amazing to watch.
The body who is holding the stick and pressing all the button is not Reynald. That body is just a puppet by the shades worn by that puppet known as Reynald.
One of the best finals I have ever seen at EVO T_T! Never forget Mr. Wizard betrayal in ruining the EVO 2014 KoF Finals by not letting Hotpockets commentate! E-Sports killed KoF BibleThump!
If I remember correctly, 2012 finals were later in the day. Last years finals were first up on that day. So at least the 2012 finals had some lead in...
have you heard? reynald said that arcade shock (the sponsor) who ask him to put kim as first character in the first two match!!! well, glad reynald go against that to put in ex kyo.
Ive seen this vid so many times of these two and what a good finale of this tournament! I hope to strive better as much like Reynalds in a future tourney. Plus a fellow Pinoy in the scene as well! Kapuso fellow kababayan! :)
I have to say that I really like Reynald because of how hard he dunked on Verna, the cowardly DuoLon player who ALWAYS runs away. But I also have to say that I really like Hee San Woo too. This japanese player is able to kick a lot of Korean players meta/tier-picking DuoLon like MadKoF and Verna - with Ryo(and Takuma) of all characters. Just solid hard core fundamentals, solid setups, incredibly good reads and nerve of solid steel if I might add. Absolute karate! That's Kyokugenryu for you. And don't ever forget it Dweebenheimer!
GREAT 2see SNK fighters are still going strong and getting support... but in "KOF 14" I need 2see (Rock Howard Gesse Howard Vanessa Yashiro Heidern Saisyu Kusanagi Yamazaki Blue mary Krauser Mr.Big Shingo Adel and Silber from KOF 11
