Butt doesn't appear to have experienced permanent damage. Recommend to walk it off or rub some dirt on it. Not necessary to kiss it and make it better. DISCLAIMER: I am not a butt doctor, however I know a few assholes and work with some as well.

Brings back memories of mountain biking every weekend in the fall 30 years ago. Love how the Catskills have a back in time feel. It's a beautiful place that time has seemed to have forgotten. Hope it stays that way for the people that live up there.

Some beautiful scenery. I guess all the old mountain top hotels were in the day when people fled from the hot stinky city in the summer time. AC made it more tolerable so people stopped doing it.

thanks for the daja view SAM, been a long time since i been there, the stone building was a water pump house if im not mistaken supplied the train and hotel , and i was amazed too see the mossy stone wall as i remember it from so long ago , and the rail sleepers are still there , too cool , royal canadain visit,i'll visit again soon , maybe next summer , 🥸🤓

Contrary to what people may think those fatter tires are actually a hindrance on off road, rocky trails. Especially with too much air pressure in them.

Beautiful park to ride around in!! I carry an air pump with me and adjust tire pressure, it makes really big difference with the fat tiers

Great video! To tighten the handle grips, there is a small set screw(allen head) near the inner edge of the grip. Tighten that up and you should be golden.

Looking at the specs, 52v 20amp battery! That is a power plant and a half. It must be a very expensive pack when the day comes to replace it.

When I was at school in the UK many decades ago. Our first book to read in English class was "My side of the mountain" I think it was made into a film too. It was set in the Catskill Moutains about a boy who ran away and lived out in the woods. I wasn't sure where it was. I was at that age when we all perhaps dream of that sort of adventure. It looks beautiful very much as the book describes it.

Sam, I think there is a 2.5mm Allen key screw in the fat plastic side of the grip that you can tighten to keep it from slipping on the handlebar. Look carefully near where the cable exits the grip, it is tiny, 2.5 mm or smaller. Did you ride all the way up to the lake as part of this test? You might consider a helmet when in that rough stuff.

Wish there was bike trails like that here where I live at but the closest ones are in another county, which is too far from me & I have no way to get there because I would have to ride on the interstate which is illegal here too ride a bike on the interstate in Kansas where I live at & none of my friends have any time to take me there because they work 7 days a week & any body else would ask for alot of money for gas,so I'm out of luck,just wish I was still living in Arkansas that way I could ride anywhere I want to but I'm not down there anymore,oh yeah I have a sport cool fat tire ebike from ECOTRIC,it's currently a 36volt, but I'm thinking about upgrading to a 48volt battery that way it will go further, right now with the 36volt battery it will only go 20 miles on a single charge,that's just one way

When mountain biking keep the pedals even and not one down and the other one up. I couldn't see yours but it is a general guide. You can't use your feet on the ground that way so balance is important. Also don't come to a full stop , try to jump a fraction before an obstacles to save ones butthole! Good riding! I have destroyed many a bike and did the walk of shame with road rash carrying a broken bike! WEAR a good helmet even in your own yard! To many vegetables in care centers already !

See what happens when you fall, both of you have to wear gloves when riding. Sam if you take the squeaking brake pads off and sand them a bit that will stop the squeaking and wipe down the disk rotor with Isopropyl Alcohol to remove any oil.

Thats a nice bike, i have been looking to get one myself but i would have to ride/test one before i buy it. Your sister cussing the bike had me dying laughing, thats some beautiful aerial scenery you got up on the mountain too. Why were the motels removed from the mountain, was it structural issues or some new code mess that made them be torn down?

I ride an MTB, and my Carpathians are very steep hills))) you have a low-level bike, so it’s hard for you to ride on rocks) maybe then you’ll buy yourself a bike with a good Fox or Rock Shox suspension, then it will become easier to ride)

You may not think you're a mountain biker but you'll learn it by default if you keep at it. Please wear a helmet! Taking a fall on a rocky trail or the road could be very bad. I have the scars to prove it. Great video! Love your channel.

Yes, definitely wear helmet as you never know when things can go south and ruin your day. I know this guy who retired from power company I worked at he was on his bike and hit a tree, and died.
