Bought it, cleared the first area, became bored by it, uninstalled it. My review of far cry 5.

The social message in this game wasn’t overbearing, at least not when you compare it to 6. 6 is awful

This game requires no microtransactions. I haven't spent a penny and have bought all the weapons and vehicles I wanted. You just hunt and fish - both activities are fun. I would argue this game is a perfect example of how games should be: you can earn money fast and buy everything - weapons, vehicles, vanity items - without spending a dollar more than you spent on buying the game.

Dude I didn't think I'd ever hear someone say vaas was overrated, the dudes barely in the game, and dies a quarter of the way in. Far cry 3 is not nearly as good as people pretend it is. When I realized the final scene with vaas was it, and I was stuck with that boring Australian guy for the rest of the game, I lost all interest

I think, what they tried to do with the turkey is recreating the meme with the honey-badger from Far Cry 4

In earnest, gameplay wise, I think the biggest loss was with how the family came at you. Maybe my view is skewed because I started with the young brother, but when they said he sent his elite to grab me and when they arrived they didn't just keel over dead, I thought I was in for a treat. Then after a few seconds I just magically fell down and the cutscene started and the magic was blown, I could see the wires and backstage helpers. The magic of being in a good game was over and I was reminded it was an Ubisoft title...

Have you ever played Far Cry 2? It's still the best one in the franchise, as far as I'm concerned, to me it was more of an experience as apposed to being just a game.

I personally found that the micro transactions can be ignored very easily in this game. Just go farm hunting in the north east, get buku money every time. The game is fairly good. Not as generic as Kiloton makes out to be.

My family is from the area in Montana that this game supposedly takes place. I liked the location, probably because it felt kinda like home. On a side note if this story line was possible it would happen here. There are militia compounds and preppers in that area. The arcade mode is the 'end game'. Enjoyable game yes, I love the location, but I've already moved on after completing everything and unlocking everything. It's shallow.

Generic is the best description ever for this game. How many times can you be captured before it becomes ridiculous?

Oh fuck yea I loved the antagonists in this game and the music is a banger every time. PRAISE THE LORD AND PASS THE AMMUNITION

When I play this game I find all objects s and characters despawn about 150m away, often less distance if they go out of sight. Even events that I come across despawn if I go to far around the corner, it's like the causal universe in-game is only your immediate surroundings. That's my biggest complaint. The guns are terribly done as well.

I think the animals are so OP so that they can adequately cause you a problem while creeping through the woods. My stealthy approach to a compound has been foiled several times by a badger or wild cat.
