Actually, Admiral Yamamoto predicted *exactly* how WW2 would go in the Pacific Theatre. He told the Imperial High Command "I will run wild for six months to a year, but then I will be ground down and defeated by American industry and manpower." (I'm going from memory so that quote is not precise. Look up the real one if you care, it's famous and not hard to find.) It is true that he fucked up at Pearl Harbor by not following through with multiple strike waves, not targeting repair and logistical facilities at all, and above all not making sure that the US carriers were in port when he launched his attack. In the end it would have made no difference IMO, but the war might have lasted a few years longer.

Thank you, thats very insightful. I watched some documentary about the war making that kind of point. Basically they analysed WWII from a purely industrial and economic perspective, and noted that you could predict the outcome based on money and aliiances. No actual battles or victories could have changed the ultimate outcome. FYI apparently "technically" it turns out that the Americans fired the first shot and got the first kill at Pearl Harbour. Right off the bat Ill say SWBF2 is worse because I dropped a tonne of money on that expecting to buy the whole game AND all the DLC... only to realise that I had only bought access to a 2nd-layer of purchases. Fortnite Battle Royale is as far as I know a free2play game. I have not played or researched it recently so things might have changed, but as far as I know, whatever they are doing.... people play for free, and loot-shit is optional. This is my understanding. Let me know if I am mistaken D-Ice

Well DICE( the games developers) they hated the implementation of loot boxes and were forced by EA to put them in, DICE actually listens to the community and are trying their best with the things they have, the gameplay is amazing and isn’t really pay to win, I can go against someone who bought lootboxes( microtransactions were removed but may come back as cosmetic only) and I can still beat them, it just changes something or gives a small boost, the game is amazing and is being brought down by EA please don’t just belive in all the hate and actually give it a try

21Kiloton well I dont own the game but I played it at my cousins house and it was pretty boring. The maps are too small, not a lot of different maps, the online servers were terrible, and the campaign story sucks.

Nah, they do this shit in other shitty games it's just very over the top compared to most other games. Not many people bitch about the other games that do it because most were a slow progression of this bullshit. It is like the frog in a cold boiling pot of water when it gets to hot it is far too late to do anything about it. Who gives a damn about EA. If we all focus on EA problems that is not an issue since a lot of games do mico-transaction. Why not jump on Activision for COD and there problems. That is a company that is to play to win, but no we all jumped on EA for no reason when it was all our faults that allowed Micro-transactions to get this far. Jump on micro-transactions, not one company since almost all game companies are doing micro-transactions. Now what we need to focus on is Net neutrality because this effects our free internet and how we use it. A lot os us need to stop getting on EA back since we all need to focus on keeping Net neutrality as a law because this is more important. If we are to busy with EA problems, then we lose net neutrality and will be mad because we focused all our attention on EA.

Dude I am the biggest Star Wars nerd on earth, and I have no issue with shitting on anything made by EA or Disney in the last 15 years. Battlefront sucked so hard, I only paid $20 and I am still peeved. IM uninstallled it. The Pay to Win BS and the forced comstant play to advance, the game play via timed challenges was just stupid and discouraging. It looked so good, its a real shame. The only thing good about it is the Ewok hunt thing. Hilarious. But because of the loot crates and the pay to win, the multiplayer is just frustrating and stupid. Just get owned by some perked-out ewok or Vader lol. Not everything Star Wars is awesome, i have been proven wrong.

I feel your pain brother. It's gutting to see people shit on a venerable franchise like Star Wars. I think the Ubisoft Star Wars game will be just as bad, but it will be a "slow poison". It will creep up on you. They will monetize everything progressively, even if it seems ok at first. Personally Im going to try out some of the earlier Star Wars games, even if though they are old, low res, and outdated. I personally think the Star Wars universe will rise again when people start making films and games that are true to the original spirit of the franchise. But this might take a few years/decades. @@SecretMarsupial Sadly, both games have been canceled in 2018 because the people who were working on them became lazy so they long since abandoned their projects. Recently someone who worked for UM is planning an action open-world game that will surpass GTA.

I played fairly recently , after they climbed down over microT and a huge update , it's a very different game now, but I couldn't stand the Karan constantly barking orders at me over the radio every 30 secs , so I changed the voice to German so it would just gibberish to me, , and it became quite funny , however it seemed kinda shallow and dumb so I got bored and stopped , I also didn't like the shity Disney film stuff being mixed in , it broke my immersion since I only watched the first one so the characters mean nothing to me and never will

The games not bad now I've not spent a penny and I win 4v4 most of the time because I'm better than them. Give it another review it's free on game pass and I've never bought a loot box

Owe i just fought of a product Disney can sell. The marketing has already been done with Starwars Battlefront 1-2. Salt & pepper pots with rotating heads of Darthvader for pepper & a trooper for salt, how quaint you could even add micky ears just to grind it home a bit more cos everyone loves grinding there childhood into dust & sneazing it everywhere they can. Starwars shit on my front plastic bib sold separately.
