The point is her explicar is that she’s been told by others and treated like she’s ugly, so she believe she is ugly whether it’s the or not. Imo, just cuz other people say you’re ugly, or that you like you are doesn’t make it true. Her features are actually more desirable side, such as big lips (people inject chemicals in order to have such full lips). It seems like only a matter of perception of beauty. I honestly went through a period of time where looks did not matter much to me at all in a partner. Of course, this was when I was in full lockdown and not seeing anyone so I didn't care much about my own looks either. After that, I started going out more, and worrying about how others perceived me physically since I was in public. Now I can tell that I definitely have become more shallow and more aware of superficial aspects in others than I was before, which is normal, but sucks

I had one boyfriend at the age of 24 (chinese) and he was damn ugly, across all standards. I was with him for almost 5 years when i moved to China. I dated 2 guys. One quickly dumped me after 3 months and got a pretty girlfriend 2 weeks later (they gor married) . The other kept me as a secret, he was ashamed of me. I didn't know why, I wanted to believe I was still considered cute but maybe I was just considered exotic as an european girl and these guys just wanted to try. I replaced and looked down with total repulse and other hid me, ashamed of my ugly 4ss. I developed an autoimmune disease (myasthenia), i lost my job, i became suicidal. Now i just exist hiding in my parents room at the age of 34. I know there are people who look worse than me and don't struggle with this. I have a background of 4busive parents and bullying. We are broken by default.

the thing about not being left for someone more attractive is so real. i had a girlfriend for like 4 months, she then just broke up with me on "good terms". a week later she was dating a guy who i later got to know; he was just like me, but better in every way. how do i even compete when there's just a version of me that's way better than me in every single way? being replaced is just an awful feeling.

That's the society problem 3 years later still. "settle", I understand that everybody want's a super attractive (or just attractive) but I promise you that the average or considered ugly guy, will give you the world, relate to you and support you. Attractive people will leave you once someone more attractive came along or they realise that they have "settled". Sure there are some outlier but we are talking about 0000,1% of the cases

I thought you looked way more attractive than me when I first saw your video, then you explained what your issues were and I can see it now, the asymmetry and "duck" mouth. I had protruding mouth too, I corrected this with jaw surgery. Tbh you can correct asymmetry with surgery too. They can "rotate" your jaw. Yes, it is huge major surgery, yes, I went through with it because I would risk death just to feel normalcy and acceptance. a. you're not alone, b. you have an option. Right now though, the jaw surgery made my nose look big and my skin sag, so I have to correct those too, and instead of being protruding my mouth looks collapsed now. so despite spending a lot on surgery, I feel hopeless anyway. I am amazed how much I can relate to you. My happiness and success in life is also greatly hindered by my physical unattractiveness. I am a bit older than you (36) and so a bit further down that track but unfortunately I haven't found that gets any easier with age, I am sorry to say that I actually think it gets harder because I feel like I have less time to improve my situation. Most people my age are married and have children but not me, that is 'Disney' to me. I like you have also been diagnosed with Body Dysmorphic Disorder, though I am not one of those people with BDD that are in reality attractive, unfortunately I am genuinely unattractive. So when I am getting it bad with the BDD I feel like I am Quasimodo and I wish that I had a bell tower to retreat to. I live pretty much like a vampire, hiding away from the sun, I never open my blinds and try not to venture outside unless its dark or raining, even then its only to buy supplies. I've come to detest the sun, it feels like a giant spotlight beaming down on me and emphasising all my physical imperfections. I think that you are very brave putting yourself out there visually to the world on social media and expressing your thoughts and feelings about your appearance so publicly, I wish I had the bravery to do it. I think it is very good that you are doing it, it helps others in similar position to realise that they are not alone in their struggles and helps reveal the sad reality that life is definitely not 'Disney' for some of us.

It's not shallow. It's just being human. There is this tale about personality can override appearance. It happens, but it takes time, and the other party probably won't try very hard to make it work. I sometimes wonder how older couples in their 60s look at each other. Since all the older people I've talked told me that they feel like their minds stopped at 25 and, in the blink of an eye, found themselves in a 60-year-old body.

As a male I'm considered attractive as I've been complimented by girls before. Maybe it's different for women but my attractiveness does nothing for me other than first impressions. @@arianam9977 I'm not confusing the terms at all. I'm strictly saying an introverted guy should find a type of girl he can be more out going around. If you find the right type of person (not easy) even as an introvert you will find yourself having more desire to do things you normally wouldn't. It happens. But for a introverted guy you still have to be an interesting person to be around in order to bring excitement to your relationship regardless if your girl is an intro or extrovert. It's not about shyness. It's about being the more outgoing person in the relationship because a girl will expect that. You still have to go on dates. You still have to enjoy life. I feel you. I'm a detransitioned woman actually so I once transitioned to being a male and regret it. Not all the way, thankfully. Which means I now look like a really butch masculine woman which is not what people want. And I'm into girls but the girls I like will never like me back. I'm also overweight but looking back at my past it never really mattered. Looking like a man, a woman, somewhere in between, underweight, skinny, fat, glasses on, no glasses on, long hair, short hair, boobs, no boobs, high pitched voice, low pitched voice, body hair, no body hair, make up on, no make up. You love and value truth? You seek truth? Alone time recharges you somehow? You’re thwart this because society thinks it’s strange and seem depressing? Is it? If overdone it can be. You’ve only had a few friends at a time? You don’t do very well in crowds, or large supposedly friendly group when society says you should and be a life of a party? Your mind is a maze, that need simplifying, good luck trying to unjungle that with ever forming questions and still keeping up with a screening outside world that says nothing at the same time? Do you wear neons over cool earthly tones? Really? Internal monologues? Healthy and funny monologues. The bouts of knowing moments? Answers that torrents out of nowhere. You wake up and you just know, your brain can absorb and understand stuff people don’t even think about? Death stare? The ‘’you should smile more” or “why are you always so quiet?” crap. You answer “how is it so hard to ever shut up bit$$?” (God why is everyone so plain and empty?) Rank pullers disgusts you, authority don’t impress you unless they can independently think, are fundamentalists, question and reason? Otherwise they don’t have your respect and you can hands down do a better job than they can or currently doing? So you’re interpreting this whole saga as you’re being rejected, unlikable. I have to smile belief that’s just wierd because I do that when it’s warranted. People pick up on your failing efforts and avoid you completely, you interpret it as being UGLY, UNATTRACTIVE. You’re an alien here. I am too. And for years I thought ugly because of the shunning I received, I’ve always been awkward, you want to change it, you want carefreeness. Try it, force it, forget it. You’re miserable, this could be your whole life, pity and walking around with a lump on your throat, when you can just let it out and screem instead of trying to fake a smile. Study you, invest in you, know you. I could say and I’ve said study God, hunger to know Him but see He is Holy something you can never be with the 7 billion might of human life put together. Take a one read to understand you, take a glance at God. THE DIFFERENCE!! And you want to be like and look like everyone else? Who do you think is the prettiest female actor? It’s Anne Hathaway for me, she my girl crush. Her facial features are strikingly different, bold and not that of a typical white girl. She is stunning yet unique in my opinion. Despite me regarding her as beautiful, she still put on more effort in taking extra care of herself, what do you know? She wears makeup 🥵. She takes that time to make sure she looks pretty because she may not perceive herself pretty the way I do. Women wear makeup!!! They’ve worn it for centuries now and they will continue to until the end of time. Which singer has stepped out to perform without it? The Jenner and the Hadid’s sisters. Why are that always so breathtaking? I’m guessing it’s the effort they put in their everyday expensive grooming. I love makeup! Show me a woman that doesn’t. I’m no pep talker, I don’t know you, you don’t know me. You’re in the US I’m in the jungle in Africa about to go feed my lions and elephants, I’m not expecting anything from you. Wouldn’t gain anything from you, why should I lie and say you’re pretty when you’re not or anyone for that matter. But my child you’re. Let God strike me dead if there’s a part of me that wants appease your ego right now. I do not take my faith lightly. God found me and saved me when I was sinking in the deepest pits. If you're over 18 and heterosexual create a dating profile and you'll get overwhelmed with men interested in you. If loads of men want to date you it's hard to maintain that you're ugly. If you're gay sadly I know from speaking to gay girl friends that it's harder to get matches but its like that for all girls.

OK, stop that, because if you are ugly I am a monster of ugliness. You are a dream girl for most of the men in this world. I dont get it, the only thing you are missing, is self confidence. You know, I have knew a lot of models and even the super beautifull girls feel that they are not that pretty. We, the mens, are not perfect and you , the girls, dont need to be perfect. Each little detail that you dislike from yourself might be a particularity that make someone have a crush on you. Just think about it, most people that find a true love, that last all their life, are not the super elite of beauty. Beauty is nothing good to build on, time is going to fade it out.
