@@CrookedLady hey honestly a lot of ur flaws are kinda fixeable. tons of girls have bad looking eyes but they make them look wider and prettier with makeup, which u are not doing. that would help u a lot cuz u have a decent face, but boring rounded eyes. also ur hairline is kinda high so find a way to cover that(maybe with bangs or a middle part). ur acne is the last thing and u could use skincare to fix that. dunno if that will help or u have already tried that. ur mouth is kinda goofy too but i dont think that fixeable. but honestly u r definitely not ugly but u aren't exactly doing what a ton of girls are doing to bump up their attractiveness. hopefully this helps and i didn't just give u a ton of insecurities.
I really hate how some people love to excuse bullying as “a joke”. When your “joke” is made at the expense of others, it’s not a joke and it’s definitely not funny.

I made a fool of myself over a guy in high school. After graduation, I didn't see him for years. Then I ran into him again at our 10 year class reunion. He grabbed me and kissed me like some long-lost love, then introduced me to his wife, who was pregnant, and looking none too pleased. That killed it for me right there. They eventually divorced. Guess what the reason was? He cheated on her. 😳😄
This opens some old wounds for me. The most frustrating part is that bullies treat nice people the worst. You never hurt anyone else, try to be kind and friendly, and they target you. I hope the guy who did that to your friend is unhappy. He probably deserves it.
You're not alone. I was also asked out as a joke. This happened during the last year of middle school. There was a company of boys that often bullied me and laughed at me. One day one of them came up to me and said "I like you. Would you like to date me?". I knew it was another dumb joke and said "No sorry" and him and his friends bursted out laughing and went away.

Also, if someone is complaining about feeling unattractive in the eyes of their world, don't come on here like "oh, but youre pretty". It's pushing the lie that your self worth is based off of looks and if you've experienced being seen as ugly by people, it just feels so insincere even if it isn't.
Now you're just forcing victimhood upon others. Telling people they are attractive is not pushing any lies. People are here to enforce the idea that beauty is subjective and while you might think you are unattractive there are many who disagree.
You are not alone, I got asked out quite a few times as a joke. In middle school this joke went on for months and kept getting more and more intense with this guy's "affections" which was all just a big joke on me. Funny thing is I am asexual so I always told them NO! And when they said it was all a joke my response was "thank god because I didn't want to go out with you anyway!" lol. I also was harassed about my weight and even had food taken from me because I was "fat". Also jokes on them, I lost all the weight and now healthier than they are. :) It's weird when I then see these people again and they are all surprised and remember who I am, yet I have totally forgotten who they are lol. But they then tell me how great I look now and beautiful, though I wish they would have said it when I really was struggling with my self image and needed it the most.

This story brought me back. I was undiagnosed autistic in highschool, an odd dude who kept mostly to himself out of anxiety. A girl was egged on by her church friends (church friends) to ask me to go out with her as a prank, and I attempted to play the neurotypical role of someone who wanted to be asked out. I had no idea what I was doing, and it was grand entertainment for them for over a week as we exchanged messages back and forth. I had a public meltdown when I found out about the prank, and that, too, was grand entertainment. That was over 20 years ago, and it still stings when I think about it. NB: the ringleader is now a cop.

Same thing happened to my best friend at the time, we were laughing with our group of friends, when this dude just came out of nowhere and asked her if they wanted to date, my friend got quiet and then he kissed her cheek and then his friends right behinds us were laughing. My friend suffered a lot from self esteem because of her weight and appearance, I remember she told me she went to sleep crying multiple times :(
This didn't happen to me but one time everyone tried to vote me as "Most Beautiful" for the annual as a joke. I found out as they were voting and I wrote on my own ballot near "most beautiful" that I was flattered but I respectfully declined the honor.

There are lots of reason a person can slip into the "being bullied" role unfortunately. Sometimes it's not only the "special" people, sometimes it just needs a very little trigger.
Hi. I’m happy to see you smiling. As far as bullying I do think that many think it’s just a joke. Which demonstrates just how clueless they are of how they can have such a terrible impact on someone. Other bullies possibly know damn well what they are doing. They may feel shitty about themselves, so coming down on someone else may temporarily build them up. Regardless of the reason, someone gets very hurt. I’m so happy that you have cats. I have one kitty and I help take care of many feral kitties. When you showed your cats in this vid, my face lit up. 😺 lol. I discovered that when I’m with my cats and caring for their needs, I am filled with complete euphoria. I believe that we all have something that fills us up with pure joy. Some people may not have found that yet, but they will if they keep looking. Once we do find it, we must harness it for we will gain strength from it. This is very important for our well being.
I’m here because I just spent more than a month in a “relationship” with my ex who was also my ex before this “relationship” she claims she jokingly asked me out (on my birthday) and that she didn’t think I believed her. This whole time I’ve been emotionally invested just for her to say “I’m not romantically interested in you. At all.” I don’t know if I’ll ever trust someone when they ask me out ever again.

There's so many forms of bullying its crazy. There's subtle things that people say to to manipulate you. Even close family members and they don't realize they do it. 1: people that ask you what are you talking about. Ever said something about a group topic that you know made sense. People who see you under them will ask you this question like you're stupid or as you didn't make sense when you obviously did. 2. People who just laugh at you for saying something little or simply when they notice you're feeling different. I had times where I have made a little face because I was bored or something and someone would exaggerate how I was feeling and laugh and asked me am I OK. Like I literally just made a bored face what's so funny 3. When you express an opinion and someone disagrees but they also throw someone else in the conversation just to sh* on your opinion and laugh at you. Like their opinion was 100% right. Long story short: there's little things people do to get a reaction out of you when they feel your not as smart as you.
Yeah I was also asked out as a Joke/ dare :/ when I was in the 5th grade like we're talking.... Elementary years and I was an victim of being bullied throughout elementary to middle school it was nonstop but now it's just a bunch of fake people coming & going.

Sorry this happened to your friend. I am 52 and about a year ago i had just started working at a fast food restaurant and was sweeping the lobby when about six feet away i glanced up and saw my manager (in her twenties) whispering into the ear of my coworker (in her teens) and they were staring directly at me and cracking up. Then my next shift i overheard my coworker making fun of me and then about five months later two managers purposefully (in my opinion) messed with me by filling up the fry dispensers, with fries cresting over the top of the rim with fries at the time i was supposed to wash it before i could go home and it was probably the slowest night for business we had had the whole time i had been there... i ended up clocking out while announcing to the staff "ok you all win since you all hate me so much i quit" it was extremely embarrassing for me but i had had it. I worked really hard there and feel like i was really nice. People who are mean spirited have to meet God one day. At another fast food restaurant i was sweepi g the lobby when it was slow late in the evening and a twentyish year old manager went and sat on the counter that is between the lobby and back area and she started giving me instructions on how to sweep better. The little power trip people get to humilate others is not worth their integrity they give up. The other day at work i witnessed one employee being cruel to another and severely humiliating her. It is so sad how pathetic people can be to others. I sometimes wonder if there are two species of humans... mean and kind.
Unfortunately, we cannot change others. As hard as it is sometimes it takes courage and integrity to be the best person and treat others the way that we want to be treated. I have learned to cope by having the mindset of being above the fray. Decades ago incidents such as you described would have hurt me emotionally. I just learned through the years that I can only control my own conduct and not that of others.

That’s profoundly disturbing for a senior in high school but that happened more times than I can count in middle school . By high school they usually pick up on social cues from other peers that it’s unacceptable behavior. It wasn’t funny to begin with , not after the 100 th time at least

This is how most women look without makeup and that's totally fine. We have been so saturated by egirls with engineered makeup and filters that we have forgotten what actual people look like and this is no longer considered attractive.

I went to a smaller private school in elementary and the first year of middle school. There were 2 teachers for each grade, so when you moved up a grade all your classmates were the same stock. I made friends with one of the slower students, so that automatically knocked down my social standing a few pegs. Not that I really cared? But it definitely left me open for bullying/exclusion. Back on topic- one day half the class decided to pull the “ask out” prank. But i didnt have the advantage of “i dont even know you? So no-“ that others have. I’d known these kids since kindergarten. About 5 kids in I was upset and confused, especially since one that i was interested in (for a shared interest in origami because we’re children) immediately “broke up” when i’d said yes. And the others I’d declined got “OOOHH’ed” by the others standing around. Ignored the rest with my head down on my desk. Fun times. Totally didnt leave a lasting effect that makes me question if people actually have feelings for me :)
One time this dude asked me out when I was with a friend at school. We were the same age and he always teased me but I didn't really notice him too much because I was a daydreamer and didn't like guys back at 13. Anyway, he asks me out, I say "Wtf no" immediately like a knee jerk reaction and sit with my friend. He then starts crying or fake crying and because he was popular and had many friends a bunch of kids formed a circle and "comforted" him or some sh*t, telling him I'm not pretty and he can do so much better (mind you Im sitting very close so I can hear everything). Then a few days later there was some party and his mum picks him up and talks to my mum and tells her that her son asking me out was a joke. For some reason his girlfriend (not sure when they started dating/ I wasn't really invested in the gossip) hates me and starts bullying me over that joke with her friends throughout highschool and I'm left wondering wtf is going on. To this day I don't understand what I did wrong or why they had to target me when I was minding my own business. Kids are just cruel honestly.
if you're incredibly insecure, sometimes makeup helps u feel more confident. Ppl also treat me nicer when im wearing it which is rlly sad lol. I was nice in high school but I kicked out of school before internet and mean fuckers on the internet. Don't listen to anyone who doesn't have a life without the internet. I'm a father and my son has depression and I battled depression and suicidal feelings and I tried twice but I grew up, in the 90s I was drinking heavy everyday for years and I had a major stroke to alcohol abuse so I fucked my life prematurely. i wish people never cared what others thought of them. i used to have really thick frizzy hair and i'd be bullied in school because people would accuse me of not brushing my hair because it always looked so messy. but i would never tie it up because i have burns on my neck that would show. so one day i had enough and i started straightening my hair but that wasn't enough, people then would bully me for the colour of my hair which was brunette so i dyed it blonde. i hated the colour because i'm naturally pale so i went back to brunette. due to all the damage my hair was taking from the dying process and the straightening, it started to fall out in chunks. and then people would spread rumours that i had cancer because my hair was thinning. so then i tried to hide the thinning by putting the front parts of my hair in pigtails. but then i would get bullied for that hairstyle and people would say it looked like i had handlebars on my head. and then i had people make fun of my fringe/bangs because they wouldn't fall the right way so i decide to grow them out and have no fringe/bangs. but then my eyebrows would be on show and people would make fun of how bushy they looked. so i spent money to get them styled. but that only made my forehead look big so then i was bullied for having a big forehead. so then i cut in some fringe/bangs again. now i am 32 and my hair is really thin and unhealthy. no matter what i did to change how it looked, i'd get bullied
sorry but i gotta be honest. i don’t understand what’s wrong with american teenagers cuz i only see that kind of immature bullying amongst kids like around 6/10 years old… i live in Brazil and i barely see teenagers bullying other teenagers like it happens in the USA. people here usually get in fights each other like start to argue and stuff but they don’t like each other or got into a problem but yeah that’s it you know? but you become a target due to the way you are perceived and then people come out of nowhere to harass and insult you without any reason or even without knowing you? that’s very weird for me.

What a sad story. If i had been in high school with you at the time, and i was a witness to that, i would have asked your friend right then and there. And if she accepted, i would have taken her to prom and treated her with genuine kindness and respect.
Bullies suck. I wish i had the take no bs attitude i have nowadays back in jr high. I dont buy that bullies dont remember bullying ppl though unless theyre actually that stupid but i think everyone is capable of thinking back to times in their life when they were rude to someone unwarrented....At least for every bully there is a cool person out there that goes out of their way sometimes to include intorverted ppl in social settings or says something nice. That goes a long way during tough times in ppls lives i think.
Because I grew up in a single mother's home, I was bullied, teased, and picked on. Being one of a few people of color at a predominantly White school, being below average looking, and low income was hard. I had to deal with racism, colorism, and lookism. The Black kids rejected me, the popular kids rejected me. So my few friends were the other rejects. As a guy, I've been fake asked out on dates. Some classmates probably thought I was gay because I was never seen with a girlfriend. TBH, if we were classmates, I'm sure had I asked you out, you would have rejected me like all the other girls. I also believe you would be gentle by being brutally honest, which is a good thing. Of course rejection is rejection and it still hurts. I've been out of high school for 33 years and dealt with low self esteem 40 years, and am now 52. My high school experience greatly influenced my life in the years since. Low expectations, minimal success, plus decades of loneliness and depression. The only positive that came from it is I am now slowly accepting the inevitable fact that I will die alone. As grim as that sounds, I do have a little light shining in the darkness. I watch my shows, read my books, study my Bible, and write sermons for church. On my days off from work (I'm a janitor back at my old high school ugh), I drive to see whatever I can besides my small town life. I try to be friendly with everyone because that's what uggos like me do with an on point personality. The darkness will not destroy me. I will live a simple life of inner peace and joy, with or without friends, with or without a love interest. When I meet my end, I will shake my fist at the approaching darkness, and say this life is over, and my next one will begin with eternal light.
I'm done with the eyes now and whether a positive or negative canthal tilt is something which matters. I think if the tilt is extreme in either direction then this could be a problem but a slight tilt, even if your eyes are downturned because of it, does not actually mean you are unattractive. It is not that simple. You have a positive canthal tilt and as such you should be a super model but no, you are not pleased with your overall face. I've just seen another video of yours where you said you would not wear make up. I don't quite understand this but OK. What about behavioral intervention? Not quite blue pilling, but CBT or something? If you improve your mood, get some confidence and enjoy good life outcomes this alone will make you seem more attractive. i dont understand her, if she is considered ugly, then at least 50% of girls in the world would also be considered ugly without make up and stuff, being ugly as a girl is no big deal, because she could easily fix it. she is looking very average in my opinion.shes a dead even 5/5, but if she wore the right make up she could probably bump that up to at least a 9. also her personality seems to be very negative, if you never smile and are always in a bad mood, it makes you look less attractive, thats just a fact, so i think her self confidence negatively impacts her looks as well, even tho shes not even that bad looking.
Never happened to me but I see myself as so ugly and unloveable that I have extreme trust issues. I was in a relationship with a girl for a month and I was still thinking, "oh shit she's fucking with me. this is a big joke." it was messing me up so badly that I had to end it because i couldn't take it anymore. my self image is so bad dude. all i can think of myself as is unattractive, out of shape (even though I'm really not), antisocial, awkward, lame, dumb (im an honors student yet I still say this shit to myself), fat, just completly unloveable. Only people who have ever tried to be in a relationship is a girl who and I quote from one of her former friends, "would get with anyone who showed a slight interest in her" and a guy who was asking out every kid just everyone. Like how can I be loveable? No one has ever really found me attractive. sometimes i look at myself and think im killing it but the next second all i can see is a loser. idk how to fix it.
this happened to me today, i got dated as a joke for a couple days and today she told me everything. it sucks and hurts a lot but i cant do shit about it
Girl. So I sympathize that you have BDD. But as an extremely feature minded person myself who has had a ton of (good) cosmetic surgery, let me tell you: you're going to look really good in a few years! If you think about these things, you'll honestly be gorgeous. 1)You should always have side swept bangs or pieces at the corners of your forehead. It totally fixes the larger angle of your forehead and looks very aesthetically pleasing. 2) once your braces do their job your mouth alignment will be very good and your teeth and lips will look great. You have really nice lips. 3) if you can, get a conservative nose job to alter the tip of your nose. Only a small change and that feature is completely ideal. 4) Your jawline and cheek structure is excellent! 4) learn to groom your eyebrows by clipping the hairs a bit shorter and penciling in edges for shape. 5) NEVER color your hair. It is a gorgeous color and perfectly suited to your look and skin tone.
I agree with all these points. I just think if you don't earn the right money for that, you also wouldn't want to risk fucking up your credit for that or getting financial problems. Or if you need a re-touch, if you cannot pay or anything, or if the surgery goes wrong, you know?
U voice is sooo soothing , maybe think about working for voice over or podcast or animation , or separate RU-vid channel where u read books n can make money BC U VOICE IS SOOOOSSOO CALMING
In high-school I was making fun of an ''ugly'' girl, I would call her on different names to laugh of her. So I did this so many times it become a norm. One day during vacation, before starting the last year of high-school I was thinking how to end the high-school the right way, and I remembered how I behaved with her. I felt so sorry for this girl. So my mission was to don't make fun of her, at all, in her last year of high school. So I didn't made fun of her, and I think she noticed. I had a kind of nurturing feeling, I avoided to make any bad comment about her. So one guy saw her looking at me and started to laugh of her that she likes me. He was like ''this ugly girl likes you''. I didn't made any comment I ignored him. So she was looking at me all the time. From my intention to stop making fun of her, she ended up having feelings for me. I had no experience in dating girls so I never dated her. I remember her because I know she was struggling in high-school, and I also struggled so much in high-school.
Ones a girl ask me out ones in school. When i was going to meet her, she had friends waiting to throw eggs in me. In a second time they laughed at me. Player=Doctor
