Fight Osteoporosis & Reverse Bone Loss Naturally // ‪@DrLisaMooreDPT‬
/ brickhousebones | • Brick House Bones
It is possible to not only slow the loss of bone mass...but REVERSE it! My client was a 2x cancer survivor diagnosed with osteoporosis.
She came to me and committed to the Brick House Bones Method (Strength, Balance, Posture, Power/Impact) - • Brick House Bones
I also coached her in proactive nutrition that would give her body the vitamins and nutrients it needed to heal.
The results? Her most recent DEXA scan says it all!
An increase in bone mass in 3 major areas - the lumbar spine, right hip, and left hip. We are so excited!!
If she can do it, so can you. Reach out to me. Let's talk!

Wow, I hope this is what I get after this past November being on Anastrozole for 2.5 years since June 2021 my bone density went from above Normal in 2018 at 51 and Nov 2021 at 54 to Osteopenia in both Left and Right Femor neck! I started jumping and marching and eating 6 prunes a day plus 200 mcg K2 MK7 to help get my bone density back!!! I'm Incorporating some of your exercises now too!!! Tell her Thank you for letting you share this and Thank you too for your video exercises!!! Beverly

What supplements was she taking to aid in her bone rebuilding? I have added in 6 prunes a day and I am taking a bone building formula made by my doctor. I love your videos! They have me trying many new things in my daily routine and they have been so easy to add. I regularly attend yoga, hike on the mountain above my home, and I just got an e-bike and ride on the canal by my home. Now I want to add in more strength training and all of your weekly exercises. Please continue to make these great and informative videos for all of us who need to rebuild our bones.

I'm new to it How do you get to know that you have osteoporosis? Watching it for my parents

The current standard of assessment is a DEXA scan. Have a conversation with the doctor about screening for osteoporosis.

Thankyou Dr Lisa I am in France and have found it very difficult to read my dexa scan. I am 73 and have always been active 3 fractures in 18 months.. what should the bone density figures be for the average healthy woman without Osteoporosis ? So I can try to compare mine?

The score numbers get bigger with a minus sign in front of them at the bone density gets worse. For example -2.5 is the beginning of the range of osteoporosis, -3.0 is worse. It tells you bone density but not bone quality. Score between -1.0 and -2.4 are in the range of osteopenia (not osteoporosis). Scores between +1.0 and -1.0 are considered normal bone density. It is normal to lose 10% of bone density in the first 5 years after menopause. Average bone loss is around 2% per year. I hope this helps.
