My engine is at 165k. Bout to change the rear main seal…that’s like $2k. Changed rear valve cover gasket, timing belt, bank two cat(still pushing code), plugs, o rings, couple other maintenance items. I’m in $8k deep. Stalling on the seal bc I wanna change my clutch at the same time lol

@@RevsALot If I may give my opinion, don't go too crazy, favor interesting stuff. Be yourself, do what you already do and maybe more frequently. I've seen many youtubers go too crazy, don't pop up and then are stuck in debt and you can't do that now with the little one on the way. BTW, my twins are 2 yo now and we have a bunch of clothing and baby stuff. We're in Quebec, which province are you?

@bringonthedead2 yah definitely won't be doing that. I did that mistake already by getting a truck back in 2020, and had to trade in for Q50 to lower payments. Now still too much. Hopefully Canada can survive till 2025 lol. I'm in the maritimes, but have 4 young nephews and a niece so we definitely won't be hurting for any clothes. I just have to get rid of the Q50 to save $800 a month and then be way better off financially

@@RevsALotGlad to hear it! Maritimes is an awesome area, but also cold AF in the winter, now I get why the TL was stuck haha Man, I love those Q50s, but they're too expensive fr. I landed on a clean 2013 Taurus AWD for 15k (100k km) which wasn't my favorite, but I've been loving it more and more and costs less than 400$/month. Because of the twins, we had to opt for a big ol' thicc boi to haul everything and everyone with ease 😆 Still looking for my future 4th gen TL! Cheers brother

@@RevsALot in between your build videos and vlogs, I'd love to hear about what are good deals, what are crackhead ones on Facebook, Auto trader, Kijiji, etc, what to watch out for when you buy a car, how to inspect a car you'd like to buy, must-have tools, how to properly take care of your car, maintenance, stuff like that. Also, consider creating a Discord channel so people can join you, discuss, submit ideas or cars to buy/sell. Since car prices are pretty nuts in Canada also, this could help people and also add visibility to your channel. This would add value to what you do, gather a car enthusiast community, while not costing you a thing except time. Just a few ideas off the top of my head. I'd start with nice lightweight wheels. Then go to opening up the exhaust hfpc, jpipe, catback

All manuals 4G are 3.7 SH-AWD. I have 18s though, just lowered on Tein Street Advance

That's a steal for sure. Depends on mileage but sometimes lower milage bone stock 6MT SH-AWD sell for that CAD.

@@RevsALot i do have ktuner but u cant raise the rev limit on tlx nd it will auto shift no matter what😑, am gonna get dyno tune hopefully by end of feb nd lets see what tuner can do. My vtec kicks in at lower rpm tho if thats what u mean it droping off power band, all shifts goes into vtec

@xlzlxlx4074 you can raise rev limiter, they recently unlocked it last year I believe. You have the 3.5 right? I follow a guy who raised his on his 3.5.

Get a bottle of water, make a tiny hole on tip, and squis it all around the gaskets, with car on, if it studles then there is you leak

Damn, I didn't know that. I paid around 3k CAD just to repair 2nd gear syncros. Still crazy, you can buy a whole GT4 ST205 for that price. Very hard to find the whole car manual, the parts for the manual are even more rare sadly
