Nike Zegama. Does Nike finally have a trail running shoe that silences the crowd. Or is it same old Nike, with a different look. Please tune in to find out what I think of the latest trail shoe from Nike.

Leave a comment down below. What's your favorite trail shoe and why! Thanks for watching.

Pegasus Trail 4 is said to have better grip. I have the GTX version and it's been good for rainy days. Haven't tried it on snow though.

Appreciate it! Thanks for watching and the kind words! I actually have yet to run in either shoe. How's the New Balance been for you?

@@yani.leigh. the new balance has been good. The fresh foam technology has really gotten better, since it’s first iteration years ago. I just got the caldera have yet to put any miles on them. I was tempted to get the zegama, but nothing was enough to push me over the edge, and get them..

@@matthiassventoest6800 the Caldera 6 look monsterous! You ll have to keep me updated on how those turn out for you! Brooks is a brand I basically have no experience with yet. Apart from the Caldera 6 nothing on their trail or road scene really jumps out at me.

Fujilite 2 is my top pick. Very good traction on ice from when i did some multi terrain runs involving grass, trail and icy tarmac. I don't know about its longevity on ice as we dont have long icy seasons here. It's on sale with the v 3 out and there's no real difference between v2 and v3 except for v3 being made of a lot of recycled materials

I've ran in the Fuji lite 2! It was one of my favorites in the summer. One of the best heel lock downs out there, plus the lace storage on the tongue was the A+. I actually wasnt aware the v3 was out yet, ill have to check it out!

In the Michigan North here I've had great luck with some Merrell Moab Flight! Had a -5F run in them last week with windchill wearing plain cotton socks the upper was just right cozy. The Vibram after being scored a bit on asphalt is very tacky on ice. Not overly heavy either...Another that comes to mind is Caldera with "trail tack" rubber. Definitely don't want deep 5+lugs for ice as they act like wheels!

You couldn't be more right! Vibrams just on another planet when it comes to this weather. You're not the first to bring up the Caldera. I might have to give that unit a shot!

Spot on! Always been a problem with Nike trails, and i don't get why they can't or don't want to do anything about their outsoles. Traction is definitely a big factor as trail shoes should be prepared for all sorts of outdoor circumstances, even on incremental weathers, because out there, you'll never know what's coming your way. This is the reason I steered clear from the zegama after my stint with the Wildhorse 7 ang peg trails, thought to myself never again... sold them and never looked back. Gosh, my ON cloudmonsters have more traction than these haha! Anyway, back to speedgoat and calderas for me. Have a good one!

100% and Speedgoats with the vibram are A+. I just posted a review on the Tecton X, also unbelievably good in all conditions. Thanks for watching , hope all your running is going well!

I actually just bought the Pegasus trail 2 for $35 at the outlet after considering these 😂. I live in the south in the U.S., so I was getting away with wearing the Pegasus 37 at my local greenways. But I want to mix in trail races this year.
@yani.leigh.
@yani.leigh. Год назад
I'd say the peg trail 2 at that price was absolutely the right call! What trail races are you eyeing up?
