That's true! I combined them in one video explaining that with some muscle groups you can be more flexible than others.

Useful information. I'm currently 270mm from the floor on the middle splits but haven't seen any improvement for the last few weeks, hopefully these exercises will get me all the way.

thanks so much, Jerome. these short videos are very helpful. I wondered though why you haven't included any stretches for the torso and the upper body? Anyhow, my resolution is to get flexible this year, and do five minutes of these every single day (preferably twice a day, morning and evening). your videos are definitely part of my rotation

I am not a fan of stretching the upper body but that's something personal. I have some upper body flexibility workouts too but will make more in the near future I think.

On a good day I can do some front splits, middle splits never happened for me though.

Yes, probably it's all a matter of how bad you want it. Though you did mention stretching daily helps, you kinda didn't mention how long people are to hold a stretch for it to be effective, I've heard muscles only lengthen after 30 secs or more, with deep breathing preferably.

It is in the video. 20-30 seconds is preferable, but you can do it with 3 sets of 10 or 2 sets of 15. That's how I learned the split too and a lot of other people (as 2 million people have watched my 5 minute beginner flexibility training with that very training style).

When doing side splits i have pain in the knee area... is it normal, am I doing something wrong, how to avoid it? Im definitely not very flexible.

Gotinox I used to have knee pain before but I tried to do the stretches gradually and I don't feel keen pain anymore. Tou have to be patient with the stretches

Also make sure to warm up your joints properly, that's very important as well!

No there are no ways to increase your height. When you're a guy over 20 years or so you won't grow anymore. Until then, you can usually still grow although most people stop growing at 18 years old.

It is a correlation, but you don't become flexible by being vegan. Those who train for it become flexible, those who don't usually aren't any more flexible than others. However, a lot of vegans usually have their health as one of their priorities, so having a flexible body is part of that, hence many vegans stretch I think.

Naw, I eat bacon and I can do kapotasana and samakonasana easily. Some yogis eat alot of ghee.

i do practice stretches mine r different a bit i do lunges squats n then do multiple streches...but my splits reach like 1 foot above the floor ...i have improved a lot tho ....still m not able to do complete splits😟☺
