I went really well standing up. I burst into tears at all he end. Sometimes that happens. I’m in Syd Australia also loving Nadine’s classes. Thank you and HNY xx
Hi Kelly, it is great to hear that you did well standing up and the release of emotions at the end of a workout can be quite common. We are so glad you are loving Relax & Reset classes as well - a perfect compliment to our faster pace classes!!
yes Lauren loved this One too! I've been on the weekly Tuesday classes but Lippy my laptop was on a stay-cation so used my You Tube! yeah the errant Lippy is back! Chat tomorrow!
I’ve been living with PD for 7 years as my primary care physician noticed lack of arm movement on my right side and sent me to a neurologist. After all the brain scans and other tests, I was diagnosed with early Parkinson’s. This last has seen an uptick in visible symptoms, muscle weakness and rigidity, and balance issues. My neurologist ordered physical therapy twice a week for two hours each session, and I’m seeing great improvement. You’re videos help supplement the PT and keeps me motivated. Thank you!
Hi friend, we are so glad our classes are helpful for you and a good complement to your PT. Please continue to explore our channel and find classes that feel good for your body. Let us know how you go and please reach out if you need anything at all. We are here to support you!!
Hi Karan!! Hi Linda!! Exercise is always more fun when you share it and so we're glad to hear that you and Linda enjoyed this class the second time around!!
I did this workout yesterday and found matching your pace, intensity and patterns of movement quite challenging- However, I’m delighted to say that I found the whole workout much more doable today! I think my brain remembered more than I gave it credit for. It’ll never be perfect but practise certainly helps. Thanks Lauren.
I am so impressed with you Marie. These videos are not meant to be one and done. The more you do them the better you get at them and that's when the real benefits begin to show. Keep up the good work. 👍👍
Hooray, how encouraging and motivating for you Marie to experience the difference a day makes and going through the routine for a second time. That is wonderful. Good on you for going back and revisiting it. You are an inspiration Marie!!
I'm so glad you liked it Paula and Jon. Forced exertion can be uncomfortable and frustrating for some. I'm really glad you gave it a try and enjoyed. 👍
Hi Paula and Jon, that is so great to hear!! It's wonderful to feel the benefits of moving in a different way isn't it!! Good on you for pushing yourself out of your comfort zone :)
So happy you enjoyed the challenge. Keep working on this. Research shows by forcing yourself to move quicker you can actually regain that ability. Keep up the good work.
You nailed it Heidi!! You can never have enough FUN when comes to exercising with PFP!! We love your vibrant attitude Heidi, know that the PFP community is brighter because you're a part of it!!
Heidi - I only just saw your comment so please excuse my delay in response. I know I can count on you for support and enthusiasm. Thank you for all you put into this program. I miss conversing on livestream with you but love knowing you are still with me through videos. Keep up the great effort and hard work.
Wow! Sister Lauren, thank you very much for this wonderful workout! You are so energetic and quite inspiring. I was a bit tired at beginning of the workout, but was able to follow along to the end. Your energy and inspiration are so contagious!!! Take care.
Paskali - thanks for your comment. Keep up the good work. Let me know what you like or would like to do more of. Keep those comments coming. I love it!
Awesome workout Lauren. I feel everyone is upping the ante with the new “SET YOUR INTENTION” theme! I’m feeling more challenged and it feels great 👍🏽 💪🏽
Yay, it sounds like you've really started the year on a high Eric and that you're working hard with your exercise routine. We are so glad you're feeling challenged and motivated!!
Yes - we all have good intentions each new year to workout more and eat better - we are here to help you make that happen. Plus I love the idea of being more intentional with every move to really strengthen your moves. thanks for your comments. 😀
Love the power for Parkinson's workout Im newly diagnosed coordination standing is easier than coordination seated. I get confused at times but it is definitely helps. Thank you so much for making these videos
Karen - welcome to the PFP community. I'm so glad you found us and hope you find these videos helpful. They are supposed to be challenging - don't get frustrated if you don't get it the first time. Work on it and you will see how much better you get with practice. We are strengthening neuroplasticity and that takes time. Let us know how you are doing. 👍💪💪💪
Welcome, Karen! We have a number of different formats including a standing series you can access here ru-vid.com/group/PL5jg5UxfmH0gb5DiPrSjdRD4AWsUtUtGb . We hope you'll explore the channel and find what works best for you. We intentionally are trying to challenge your brain to develop new neural pathways so don't give up. We all get confused with the sequences sometimes but with repetition you should see improvement. Enjoy!
I did this session standing. Only because am working on balance as well. A bit tough to remember. But my Kathak Todas, and Tihais came to help. There was a lot to remember! Here as well. I was going wrong sometimes. But had fun doing these new movements. I am going to try again tomorrow for sure! Thank you Lauren for making it tuff and challenging! 😄🙏
Stick with it Anagha - this video is meant to challenge not just you body but your brain as well. It may take a few tries to catch on to some of the patterns or to remember what exercise is next or to keep your arms straight etc but its all part of strengthening our body and brain. I'm so happy to hear you challenged yourself by trying to do it standing - just be sure you are staying safe. Keep up the good work and let me know how you are progressing. 😉
Hi Anagha!! Thank you so much or sharing your experience with us!! Well done for doing the class standing and challenging your balance. We echo what Lauren said - these classes are supposed to be challenging for both body and mind. They can be hard but the main think is you are still having fun with the classes. Keeping movement fun is what it's all about and will keep you motivated!! Thanks for joining us :)
@@laurenlewis6969 I did it again today! Sitting! That f A S T part I couldn't do !!😭 Tried so many times!!!😱 I think I have not understood only!!😢 Let me try again tomorrow. Wish me luck!! 🤩 Thank you, for keeping it so challenging! 🙏😉
Yes! Today again I tried! Sitting! Am not just letting it go! And I did it! I still have to catch your pace. I assume that's going to take 3/4 days. (or 10? 🤔) But, atleast I got it! I am happy!!! And am good in remembering the sequences. May be that is because of Kathak dance exams and stage programs. The way you do it, it looks like my solo class is happening! You are helping me to do it better! Thank you Lauren! 🙏
After some 2 weeks ! Sitting! I have to do it regularly! I am finding the last part 'slow and fast' very difficult. If I get the legs movments right then I notice that my arms just standing still and watching what the legs are doing!!!! 🙄 I have to do it every day till my arms know that they also have some movements here! That also opposite! 😬 Thank you Lauren! You made me notice where am going weak ! I will work on it for sure! 🙏
Hi Monique! It sounds like you're right on track. Giving your best effort is what will help you. Little by little you will hopefully feel your coordination improve. This is an especially challenging video and great to hear you're sticking with it. We hope you'll join us again soon!
