This is amazing. I had no idea this was accessible until i started trying to find a way to change out my own back up motion sensor, which has to be reprogrammed. I am hoping this will allow me to do that. I kind of jumped in the middle here, and would like to start with first video and watch them all. I am waiting for my Motion Detection Sensor to come in from China. Ford was on back order anyway and the price difference was literally over a 1000 dollars less. So THANKS. I've been a Ford Fan since the days of Vacuum powered windshield wipers....my how things have changed... You made the leap much easier.

Just bought my F-150 Lariat and brought it home to show the Wife. The door closed by itself with a gust of wind and I had the truck running. Scared the hell out of me and the Wife. Saw this video and instantly bought the adapter. Thanks man! I knew there had to be a way to adjust the parameters since I did this with my BMW as well.

Huge thanks!! Invaluable tutorial alongside your other vids on FORScan!! I just picked up a 2018 Lariat 3.5 and it is night and day after a few changes. The double-honk delete is worth the $50 OBD cable entry fee alone. Fake engine noise delete was also a complete gamechanger especially if your an audiohead like myself -the B&O sound system is drastically better without it. Cabin noise is also considerably lower on the hwy. Deleting the TCM adaptive learning tables and disabling adaptive learning all together is like a new truck when it comes to the 10 speed shifting. I've yet to jump into the As-Builts, and have been unable to figure out auto-folding mirrors on lock.. I've tried Lincoln Mode, and Mirror Auto Fold with no luck.

I appreciate your attempt at explaining using ForScan; any information is more than I had before......BUT you say in your title, “New easy way with no spreadsheet”. Yes you showed it can be done without a spreadsheet BUT you were aimlessly clicking on stuff with no direction as to where to go to get to a certain setting (and you know a lot about the settings). A new user that has absolutely no idea of what module to go to would be just as lost as you seem to be. Honestly, I think your “phone quit recording” because your poking around didn’t work, so you had to find one that did. All I’m saying is a spreadsheet that drills down to where stuff is and gives a description of what it does is helpful. Thanks again.

Got Forscan in February and I wish I knew this. I’ve input codes manually on three trucks now…

You have to wait for the odometer led's to go off before you turn the ignition switch back on to reflect the change for the themes

So this is great. I changed my radio splash screen to Lincoln a long time ago with this software and the spread sheet. Well I did not back up my default programing and sync 3 would not update as it did not see it as a F150 But now I can change it back and try to update it agian.

There are auto switching dongles now that make things easy and no drop outs.

I actually messed with this yesterday on my 16 Explorer Platinum trim, I wanted the turn signal on along with the LED ring (I mean the C shape light around the headlight housing) when its set at Auto as DRL, but then when the car is off, the turn signal lights kept staying on while the LED ring and the low beam are all off after a few second. Any thought on this issue?

set “Allow DRL options” to all options in BdyCM if you want it switch daylight running lights option

have you ever tried any of the more complex mods? example adaptive headlights. They normally require changes in several modules however in the BCM there is a one click button to enable them. Does that change the other modules as well?

Hey man, thanks so much for your videos. Even though spreadsheets have been almost all but not needed, this is still a fairly complicated program to navigate. I have a 15' Platinum and have made several successful changes- I like the DRL setup and have it changed as well, but the LED outer rings aren't as bright as the turn signal light like your are. I've tried to find the settings here and some have said when they turn up the brightness (somehow) they lose their rear parking lights in the process. I was just wondering about this, and if you could tell me where I find the settings to turn these up brighter in the DRL mode? Thanks again for your videos, I couldn't have done it without you!

Thanks for the video, I tried on my 2016 limited F150 and change it but isn’t work. I did the DRL, down up windows, Lincoln style folding mirrors and not working. Also I have a problem with the Radio, all components like GPS, climate, backup cam. 360 and all other apps work but the radio runner does not work or turn on.

Changing a battery in my 2018 F-150 requires a reset or some input to the battery control system. Can this be done through FORSCAN?

It sure would be a lot easier and easier if this was like the J Scan app for Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep vehicles. All you need is an obd2 wireless dongle and the app. It's really that easy

Great video, I have a 2019 F250 Platinum. I added LED lights strips to the bed. I tied them into the existing bed lights but when i turn them on, they quit working. I have to start the truck for them to reset and turn back on only to go out again. From my research, it's drawing to much. My question is can i change this in Forscan so that i can use these LED lights in the bed with the existing bed lights? Thanks

Do you know if the fusion hybrid (2015) still requires a spreadsheet? I tried connecting with Forscan to reprogram my audio to output line level and could not find the spreadsheet info. It's apparently different from regular to hybrid.

I got a 2023 F150 power boost with blackout has three quarters of an amazing tow package but even when my trailer is not connected it keeps saying height restriction ahead Every time I go under an overpass Is there a way to shut that off in forscan also is there a way to change the power output to the electric drive so that it will go farther or faster versus a stock setting for when the motors should turn back on for drive power or charging

Seems like you are good at this. I just did a 2" to 8" cluster and I was able to write miles but not the engine hours or idle time. Do you know how i can change those values?

Hey brother, great video. I am a new owner of Ford Raptor 2018 and I have replaced the front radar with a used one. However, it is not functioning as I believe it must be programmed due to VIN differences. Any thoughts of the steps from the ForScan this can be programmed? Thanks

I tried to activate turns with parking lamps on my 2017 platinum and it comes up with an error message saying incompatible combination. Next I will try parking lamps and fogs or driving lights and see if that will take. If it does I will switch out the driving light bulbs with amber LEDs. Currently stuck on parking lamps and low beams.

Thanks for the videos. I have a GEN1 Raptor as it seems the FORScan doesn't pick up the DDM and PDM for the auto fold mirrors. I've also seen that DDM PDM were after 2015...do you anything of this information or how if I can even do autofold with my GEN 1 (DSM Module)

Thanks for the videos. I have a 06 Ford Escape XLS. I'm using the ELM327 adapter. I'm trying to turn off the tire pressure light on the dashboard. It's very annoying. I can't seem to find the file. I found it on my 2017 Escape. Any ideas where it could be?

When switching to MS it does not load further modules. I bought the same one you have off Amazon and licensed it. Why is this happening?

I updated my 2017 F150 with 3.0 and now my voice recognition does not work and my volume controls all on my steering wheel dont work. Any idea why I’m only seeing the APIM, PAM, and BdyCM Modules? I have a 2016 f150 Lariat 3.5L V6 and I’m using the ELM327 connector.

I have 2020 f150 lifted 3 1/2 added 35s will FORScan let me update my tires and rims to speedometer.

I enabled Bambi mode but may have changed something else as my DRL stay on after the truck is off and locked, they use to stay on like 20 sec but now they won’t turn off by themselves.

Is there glossary for this new part of Forscan that actually describes what each change will do? Like Dark car mode for example. I know what that one does because you just told us. But there are a lot on here I have no idea what they are. Thanks for the videos you were the reason I got Forscan and started tinkering with it.

We have a 21 expedition. For canceling DRL, I can just turn it off on the #0? I see that there is a list of different ways. We have halogen lights and just want it off.

If I want turn signal bulbs on only for drl’s, do I literally just select “turn signals” in the drl configuration tab? Thanks!

I have a Canadian f150 lariat 2017 and don't see an option to disable the headlights when I want only parking lights, like driving up to a gate and want my headlights off and parking lights to remain on. What is the code for that or where is it on the modules?

I change the steering wheel on my 2017 F350 XL To a XLT steering wheel with buttons how can I get them buttons to work with my aftermarket stereo. I’m pretty sure I have to go into the BCM but I don’t have the values numbers for XLT

Is there a way to view backup camera while driving? I would like to see toward the hitch when pulling and also be able to look in the bed of the truck. Also would like for just the reg reverse camera to show when in reverse not the 360 camera

My 2023 rear bed camera was deleted by ford due to parts being unavailable when the truck was built. I want to add the camera back by replacing the third brake light lens that has the camera. I have the 360 camera option on my truck minus the bed camera. Can you show me how to enable the bed camera using Forscan? Thanks, Dennis

I tried to use the non as built to program Global windows on my F150 2016 Platinum with no success, setting to remote and both. I programed with as built with success?

BTW...do you know if there's a setting to make my auto headlights from stop coming on all the time, even in direct sunlight? They've been doing that for years, right after I installed LED bulbs and had the radio switched to an aftermarket Pioneer.

Is there a way to change the heated seats when you restart the engine that the heated seats come back on to the previous setting?

I just downloaded and paid for Forscan a week ago. It only has the as built options. So it's very confusing trying to figure anything out. Everything is just numbers and nothing shows what anything is. 2018 F150, 2018 Explorer, 2007 Mustang. All 3 only have as built data.

So I spent quite a bit of time going through everything tonight and at the end of it all, none of it changed. I'm thinking I didn't cycle the power in between long enough. Will try again tomorrow. One question I had was, how come some of the items show up like twice in different menus? Do i have to make the change in both? For example the folding mirrors. I think I see those in 3 menus, passenger, driver, then ips.
