@@ValFPV I've bought allot of frames. Broke allot. Just broke one that is highly rated. Rule of thumb..find on sale. If close to 40.. then just get a Armatton. My favorite class 4 inch. Armatton gecko. ESC must be belehi32 so can utilize bi directional filtering. In 4.2 or newer. 4.3 soon out. I'm going to upgrade entire fleet to. Worth it. Fligh controler f7 motors xing or any good motor( good (bearing/shaft) I didn't say name brands. Because I bye on clearance. From get fpv.rdq. pyrodrone, Newbeedrone..any american based company. And amazon. If need Fast. Check clearances daily to get before sold out..bats get on ebay! Toolkit chargers only way to go..

And, most just follow you prominent RU-vid channels and get an HD quad because they like seeing your HD video. but, they fail to understand that HD footage gets you views and makes a little money for your channel. Gets more subscribers. When they get HD footage, you think they watch a flight over and over? No, I thought it was cool at first too, then I realized how boring it is to watch those flights, and that I'd much rather be out flying than watching a flight I did in the past. So, those HD videos sat on my hard drive collecting virtual dust! Now I see that for you, and other prominent FPV channels, it serves a purpose to have HD footage, but for most of us, it has no purpose!! :0 95% don't have channels that people watch, so whose looking at their HD footage? If they aren't, then no one is, and there's no reason for that slow flying bloated cow of a no fun Cinewho0p! lol I'd rather do like you do....go out and RIP UP THE BACK YARD AS FAST AS I POSSIBLY CAN! TEAR a HOLE IN THE SKY!! Then, go do it again! lol ;) Course, this is just what I learned long ago....most will have to buy the HD quad, find they never do anything with the HD footage, and do like I do...ignore the bloated cow quads! lololol Amazing game! So tense when they had the bases loaded or 2 men on soooo many times and each and every time we pitched out of it! Our bullpen, and Max Fried, are INCREDIBLE! We literally have 7 closers! Yeah, I've got all of the parts but the frame right now. I got a text from FPV Cycle saying frames were in stock like 3 or 4 days ago and hopped on that quick, so hopefully I'll have one of these up and running soon.

@@sugasheeze it's a really fun quad to fly and almost silent. I have mine on 4.2 and don't have any issues with hot motors or anything like that. have the master slider to the left 2 clicks and dmin off. Flys great

thats all going to add too much weight and will negatively affect the flight characteristics. Maybe build one super light then add some of that stuff so you can see if its something that may bother you or not.

@@M.TTT. i know my weights, and most of my builds are heavier than others generally like. It's what I'm used to with my builds. The 7g HD one from the meteor/mobula would be perfect for good footage without sacrificing too much.

@@jeffpv ah nice, Yeah I'm just used to Kabab ways of building lol. You'll probably be fine, could even just fly the 450 batts and still have good performance. It is slower, but its insane how quiet it is. Can't hear it past 30 to 50 feet practically.

@@M.TTT. Most of my 1s are 450's anyways so I'm set ;) yeah, we all have our own sweet spot for weights based on how we fly anyways, right? DVR with alright flight performance works for me, plus with a bit more weight than most use, I can fling the little ones a bit better for inverted stuff

@@jeffpv true! And with a good board, it has better performance for sure. The zeez board performed much better than my jhemcu play4, but that may be because the jhemcu has at least one weak esc.

My neighbor across the street is very interested, he has a mavic or phantom, but he has young kids and so very busy we haven't been able to get together. My new neighbor shows interests and seems to be very nice, I am going to do my best to share with him. It could be cool to have someone to fly with and help in person.

I agree. Mine has 35g and I can really feel the difference vs 38g+. Also with GNB 450 I have almost same flytime as with GNB 600 and with so much better flying characteristics. Next step for me is change XT30 to GNB27.

I see absolutely no need for another connector! I weighed an XT30 with proper amount of wire vs. PH2.0 solid pin with wire, and found 0.5 grams difference!!! So, what?...The BT2.0 saves 0.25 grams? HUH?!! Why would we need that? And why wouldn't we use the universally available XT30, which is already very small and lightweight too?! Plus, you know the XT30 pass current better than a BT2.0 ever dreamed of! These new connectors are a *SCAM TO GET US ALL TO BUY NEW BATTERIES WITH THIS UNNEEDED CONNECTOR!* :(

Sco0t Rot0R xt30 works fine and it’s nice that it is readily available to any battery maker. I still prefer BT2 on my babytooth builds because it is lighter (did you weigh both ends of the xt30) and physically smaller. Also I already have a supply of 450-520mah batteries with BT2 (converted previously). They work great. Xt30 could carry more current but a babytooth doesn’t need much current. Now... for people who aren’t willing to change battery connectors and aren’t as anal about weight as I am... for them I would recommend Bob’s 520mah XT30 batteries for sure. Cheers!

@@MrShutterBug Go ahead, I don't have a BT2, so you weight both ends and you'll come back telling me it's under 1 measly gram! lol It's different when BetaFPV sends you the BT 2.0 batteries. Because no one who owns a ton of XT30's is going to buy a bunch more of the same batteries with a BT2 connector. We DO NOT need another connector, and no way less than 1 gram is going to make any difference on any craft! *Again, it's simply a ploy to sell more batteries!* I like you dude. Go ahead and recommend BetaFPV stuff, I just wish you weren't "in bed" with them so much. Because many of their products you endorse and love so much aren't actually very good at all....including this stupid connector that serves us no purpose! Sco0t Rot0R think whatever you want. I am totally honest with what works and what doesn’t, and I didn’t say I was using BetaFPV batteries on my babytooth builds. I use GNB batteries which I modded. For me it’s worth it to get the reduced size and weight (yes 1g matters to me), but people who want to buy BNF drones and ready-to-go batteries probably will make a different choice. That’s cool man. Fly whatever you want.

By the way, what seize are the new FPV cycle 1s motors? They moved up from 1202.5 to 13xx ? Unfortunatly not available in europe 😢

I think if you use low pitch biblade the amp pull will be fine for the esc. I am not sure on the new fpv cycle motors. I think they are likely 1303.5

Sure, not all quads are not for everyone. Maybe you can find a buyer to move on to something that fits you more?

yea, they are all v2 lenses at this point. The v2 lens has a bit of an octagonal shape, v1 was round lens.

likely just a flight style difference. turns around the trees and the punchouts are pretty heavy on the battery.

I don't believe we have seen a 1s like this in a bnf. The closest we have seen is the crux3, it will fly 1s but doesn't perform all that well, its mainly a 2s quad.

Yes the end screen stats come from betaflight not a calibrated sensor. We would need to calibrate those numbers measuring the battery and making appropriate changes in betaflight power page. This end screen was how the board is set with betaflight. The only information I generally find viewers are interested in is the flight time.

This one wouldn't be on to put a go pro on it, the insta360 go camera is much more viable. We need to keep weight in mind when adding a camera. Flying fpv is not easy, it take time and practice. Be prepared to build and repair, its part of the hobby at some point. Some enjoy the building more than the flying.

As a newbie to the hobby whats the price range I would be looking at to start fpv drone flying before I get to the more technical fpv drones where hd cameras will be mounted? Like as a practice drone to fly around for a couple months before I think about upgrading.

@@NickBurnsFPV I was the last two years a reseller for cables and connectors from china for the german fpv community, everything bigger than than that is too much of a hassle for a hobby. But if I quit my main job...nah, I'll stick with complaining and order the parts anyway.

do you mean the runcam split 3 nano lite? For HD recording? Can it carry it yes, does it affect the flight characteristics, I am sure it would decrease flight time and agility, but if HD recording is a high priority then we have to make sacrifices somewhere.

I certainly would suggest it. I would think this could be bad. One or more batteries could get over charged and puff or start fire. We need that balance led to charge on a parallel (really series) board.

@@bluesquircle2102 Do your batteries not have balance led? Can you point me to the charger you do have. There are simple chargers that only have a balance led port, that is fine. But a charger upgrade would be in your future.

@@bluesquircle2102 oh so sorry. I completely misunderstood. Yes, we can charge 1s batteries without the balance led. The balance led is for the purposes of multiple cells, in the case of a 1s battery it only has one cell. Sorry I was so off base with my responses.

What size 3s do you have? Have ripped nicely some 1303s 5000kv xings on chnl 350 3s short run time like 3 mins but really nimble , 450s are great i run some old 550 3s a little heavy in my opinion. all tested with 3016 gemfans. :)

I only have 350mah 3s.. But ill get 450mah if realy needed.

If going 3s I would likely go 1303 around 5000kv

@@DNLKRNWN same...not really. The performance might be the same but I would expect the flight time to be shorter, it might only be about 10% less, but could be more.

@@NickBurnsFPV thanks again, yes i did unlocked the vtx I connected the smart oudio to uart 1 tx in bord and even i went to other way connected to channel 4 in rx crossfire still not working . all my quads with tbs vtx this is first time happens i think the vtx faulty but still working OK manual 2 light are on . I am not certain about your local area. As a kid, I mowed lawns, shoveled snow, collected cans and other scrap metal, and once I got old enough got a newspaper route, I also took dogs for walks, washed cars and fixed bikes for other kids. If you have neighbors and see an opportunity ask to help, maybe groceries carried in, or something like that. I don't suggest only helping if they agree to pay, but if you help they might offer to pay, or have other items they think of where they would pay to have your help. I hope there are some ideas that can help. Also, channel giveaways will return when the pandemic is under control.

My channel is slowly but shurly dieing. Use to have so much fun . Would play subs songs requests.. they troll the few friends I have left.. they wont stop. And community don't care.. but most importantly.. I'm not having fun.... hard to believe 55 never been bullied.. I know how feels now.. was very good feeling... I enjoy hobby.. but you tube and the fpv community.. not so much.. I cant grow..cant help my friends grow.. few watch now.. just seems pointless.. never be the same..
