38911bytefree it's probably a bad rubber ring seal. It's under pressure I don't think is any way to seal it temporarily. cover it with some good tape do the gas don't spray everywhere then carefully drive to the mechanic.

kohn gaming just snug up the 3 nuts. The injectors are just held in by rubber seals and the 3 nuts.

They are steel parts just snug them up pretty tight.

These cars are not designed for rapid acceleration. When you hit the gas the transmission is always slow to respond. Could be several things. Start by checking for codes.

Have you cleaned the throttle body?

Your wasting money man. It's an obvious transmission issue. Maybe the torque converter.

My car had the same issue. I'm guessing it could be dirty throttle body or egr system needs cleaning I have a vid on that on my channel. Otherwise might just be because it has a basic computer that is slow to response changes and is noticeable when a big change happens.

+joseolg I noticed a similar issue with mine and after many a trial and error it turned out that my catalytic converter was plugged just enough to restrict the exhaust in the higher RPM ranges. It started suddenly bogging out under load (open road, up hills). The more clogged it got the less and less power it had. So, it can also be on the other end of the power production system. Also, if you're hitting the pedal and the engine is sleeping/lagging before it wakes up, check for slack in the throttle cable. If it has stretched out over time you can adjust it until it's taut. Its super quick and easy to do. I could keep going with suggestions but I will just hope you've solved you're issue!

thanks for your suggestions i found what the problem was it was my timing belt someone put the time wrong way off but now it runs great thnaks guys

Yep people that dont know what their doing when i took off my head to check for coolant leaks i should of made a video. But i marked the belt and cams with paint so i didnt have to redo the entire belt and was careful not to turn the motor untill i had it back together and it ran fine but it was so screwed up from being messed with by other owners i sold it.

You have to release the fuel pressure first by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the car and letting it use up some fuel to release the pressure. Its just a return line only the fuel in the rail will come out.

@@chriss4365 i don’t even know if it’s the fuel injectors, what could cause the car to run perfectly with a brand new battery but stop working 20 minutes later? It cranks and stutters a little when i try to start it.

Not sure but i assume they are 12 volts because the electrical system is 12 volts.

Did you check the air filter, Fuel pressure regulator, or the fuel pump could be on its way out. Sounds like an issue with fuel pressure or ignition system any codes?

Yeah

No start is probably a fuel flow issue or distributor issue. Check for spark first before messing with the injectors even clogged ones the engine should still run but it will run bad. Turn the key to the on position right before the starter would engage listen for the fuel pump you will hear it, if not then that's the issue go and check the fuses first before replacing the pump. Could be a clogged fuel filter too if the pump is running.

It's either fuel spark or air. Did you just change the plugs for tuneup?

check your electrical connections to the pump. it could be bad also. you might not be turning the key correctly it's the point right before the starter would engage. Also check for fuel leaks.

+Randall Shaw sounds like low fuel pressure. Try turning the ignition on and waiting 10 seconds before you start the car. oing that allows the fuel pump to run you can hear it running when done right.

+Randall Shaw no, don't ever just throw parts at it. You need to try to narrow it down, it could be dirty injectors too. Watch my video on cleaning injectors.

didn't realize it was an issue for you - sorry about that. the video was good though. do you have any experience working on the 6th generation Hondas that finished production in 2002? i'm having a difficult time even finding that fuel filter.

I haven't worked on newer Honda's. It is just annoying to hear a comment about my voice when i'm making videos to help people. Maybe i was too far from my camera who knows.

@@chriss4365 tried again give up now the three bolts that hold on the fuel rails they just keep spinning they don't come off I'm just going to buy a new engine

Just go to junk yard and buy the injectors harness. You may be able to remove the old studs and put reg bolts. The rubber seals on the injectors is what keeps them from leaking the 3 nuts just hold them in place so the fuel pressure doesn't pop out the injectors.

maybe if you test my DNA you can find the answer.

One of those things if it works why isn't everyone doing it. I have seen a lawnmower run on fuel vapor. But a car is controlled by computer it will have to be reprogrammed to run on vapor fuel.

chriss4365 The computer is still in control the O2 sensor will still have an input on the ECU program. The way other people do it it's just a bucket of gas evaporating.my way the injectors spray in the can they won't know they're not in the side of the motor. So more fuel will go to it first second third gear less in fifth gear. Once I'm going down the road in fifth gear I can manually switch off one fuel injector and maybe go to 30 to 1 gas ratio instead of the 22 to 1 gas ratio my car has. Look at my avatar that's the dash display 150 miles to the gallon. Yesterday I had 150 miles to gallon for 11 miles today 146 miles to the gallon for 9 miles.

This car ended up being a piece of junk the previous owners screwed it up cut wires installed that stupid air intake. I ended up selling the car so I was not going to replace all the injectors not about being a tight wad it's about being smart. I even replaced the head gasket in that car and the computer. After about 1k in repairs I got rid of it. Modified cars are trash only buy stock. If a car needs alot of work do the minimum because after 1k you may say screw this and have wasted your money.
