I wasted a day trying to hook this up. After many promises to return it I had it set so decided to try it out. Water bursting out of 1st filter. Im returning it and might classify it as the worst item I have ever bought. Ill spend the extra couple bucks for an easy installation and the extra room. Hope they enjoy the mess they're getting back.
I'm doing the same thing, Today actually. Underneath the sink just has no working room. SO MUCH easier putting it directly below the sink in the basement.
While the manual does need a few updates. Fairly easy installation. Do I need the flow restrictor? The flow restrictor that goes into the drain does not fit the red tubing. Thank you
The filter on top that he puts in at 2:30. Is there a wrapper that needs to be removed or do you just put it in like he showed with the blue plastic still on it? Thanks
I bought this type of system from geek pure. The RO tank was about 1 gallon. We bought a 5 gallon ( 4 gallon full water potential) tank, but it ONLY fills 1 GALLON at a time. What would i need to correct so the system can fill 4 gallons water INSTEAD of 1 gallon currently? Thank you for any help 🙏
thanks, but it depend on the feed water quality.and i'd like to share more about TDS value.in fact,43ppm is good value. whatever you test the water from the 4th stage membrane or the last stage.. i am sure if will be less and less in the future. 1. If you want to test water quality,it is best to test the water after membrane, that is the 4th stage.the 5th stage is post carbon filter ,it is not 100%pure ,so,TDS will be higher a little. but that is not bad matter,so,please don't mind. 2.TDS value is sensitive. if the water is hot or flowing, the TDS will be higher . even same water, if you put it there one day. the value will be different too. 3.if the feed water low TDS,the rejection rate is not so high as normal. if feed water is 300ppm, the output TDS is around 20 or 30ppm, if 500ppm water, the output is still 30ppm, your water just 43ppm, the output is same, but for these 3types feed water, the rejection rate is different. 4. as i said yesterday, even feed water 43ppm,output 40ppm, the water taste is big different.it is totally different. 5.if filtered water stocked in the filter or tank some hours, the TDS will be higher than usual. if you test the water quality, please drain it 1 minute before you test it. 6.43ppm is good value, in fact, in some area and countries, people mix some prefiltered water in RO water and keep TDS around 50-100ppm. they think there is enough mineral goods and better for our health.that is reason some people need the 6 stage. if you need further support, please get in touch with us.we will do our best to support you.
Hello I purchased my Geek Pure 8 months ago and changed my Filters, the canisters won’t stop leaking….I’ve left several email messages with company. They haven’t responded back in anyway!!! Is there a phone number to speak with a person?!
Couldn't this person talk and not just play some song? My god some companies don't care about customer satisfaction at all. I've read many negative comments about installation. I've installed other filters before and I see this product's booklet is so vague.
Nice info, needs a bit of language usage work as per "Enlarge lifetime" to increase lifetime and "To protect" vs "for protecting" granted I have no other language to boast about or make snide remarks about. I'm watching a 12/17' and this is 20' so.......To protect vs for protecting
This video has some really bad issues and having a hard time trying to load it. It won't play. Everything else on RU-vid works perfect except this video
