He’d be saying the same things. People as a species don’t change. It just seems worse at the moment because we’re a couple generations past trying to hide our issues.
@@JohnSmith-qn3ob And the end part where he goes off about Dan Quayle's wife... Easily the funniest part. "And have you taken a look at that wife of his? Where'd he pick her up at a Halloween party or something? She looks like Prince Charles for christ sake!" brutal lol
I would wager that the joke is we all fall into at least one of these three groups. You don't think it drove Carlin nuts to be surrounded by the first two groups?
Saw him once many, many years ago.... He had a way of making you feel like you were sitting next to him having a beer, just talking and solving the world's problems, one drink at a time....
@@tired7140 ALL of the population that keeps electing dems and repubs thinking that there's a difference.. They both work for the oligarchs, corporations, military industrial complex, drug pushers and of course as can be seen so clearly now, israhell.
George had nothing against politicians. You should see his bit on politicians. "Maybe something else sucks around here...like the people? Yeah, the public sucks, there's a campaign slogan for somebody."
I always loved George Carlin he says what’s on his mind he is accurate and funny all at the same time. I only wish he was here today so I could hear what he’s got to say about what’s happening to our country.
I developed this idea into what I call the ‘scoundrel trifecta.’ If I’m talking to somebody and suddenly can’t decide if they are stupid, full of shit or nuts then I know I don’t need to worry about talking to them anymore.
Me Being a Unwanted Foster Child. Abused And Neglected. Never Been To School. Raised In a Foster Home From Hell. Was Always Told, "I WAS TOO STUPID TO LEARN." Always thought I was "The World's Stupidest Person." Until, I started to educate myself.
Up here in New England, we have a distinct phenomenon: people who are absolutely willfully ignorant.... but think they are way above other people and their "shit don't stink". You get (what I call) the "Trailer Park Elitists" who don't have any more money than you do (and if they do, it isn't much more). Yet, they act as if they are doing you a favor by giving you their precious attention - if even for only a few seconds. It never fails to stun and irritate me whenever I see this kind of behavior. Maybe it's delusion? Maybe they are trying to imagine themselves as millionaires who just haven't won the Lotto yet?
I truly believe that if Carlin lived to see Trump run for president, he would've roasted him so bad he wouldn't have even gotten the nomination. He had the best mirror placement of all comedians: he knew whose reflection it had to be, and he knew how to angle it so the right people could see it.
@@coldsamon Not the same. At all. Birtherism alone is so stupid it should have disqualified any politician in most countries. Add to that Q, stop the steal, pizzagate etc holy macaroni
@@coldsamonDude carlin would have field day roasting biden considering all the embarrassing dumb shit he has done. Hell the likes of jeff dunham and kevin hart have had snipes at biden.
They should’ve given this man the “sir” thing, just like sir David Attenborough. Sir George Carlin, the man fuckin deserved it, R.I.P man. If He lived a little longer goddamn how much laughter he would’ve had.
This entire video sums up life in 2023! The older I get, the more I realize how more I’ve become like George. The majority of humans are stupid and will never change. There are so many things I view as detrimental to our survival as a species that’s making things worse. Social media, cancel culture, gun violence, BLM, Covid, Artificial Intelligence, Christian conservatives, white supremecists, Trump, Biden etc. George was right, humans don’t ever change, specifically Americans. Americans will only do the right thing only after they’ve exhausted every other alternative. I’m just glad I’m not one of those people because as George said, it’s all bad for you. RIP George
I’m also glad I’m not one of those people, I’ve been listening to George Carlin my whole life. All of those you mentioned is what’s wrong with America my boy. 98% of the students at the school I go to are fucking nuts. I see them on their phones, disrupting classes, and I saw some kids fight over a chair. I’m sorry you’re having to deal with all of this, I’m surrounded by all of that stuff everyday and it gets sickening. I’ve always felt at home with the UK because of their taste in things and the amount of common sense I’m seeing.
George is talking about (Insert person, group, or nationality here.)" Have you considered he's talking about you too? Humanity collectively has done a hell of a lot of stupid shit.
Actually, it is one of my favorite shows. As you can easily spot, they are ones of those who spy, laugh and leak their customers, clients, guests, passengers, applicants and employees privacy to third parties without the targets consent.
Garbageman here. We're often short staffed so we often get workers from a place called employment specialists (we call them ES guys) who are often dumber than a hammer.
“People are wonderful. I love individuals. I hate groups of people. I hate a group of people with a 'common purpose'. 'Cause pretty soon they have little hats. And armbands. And fight songs. And a list of people they're going to visit at 3am. So, I dislike and despise groups of people but I love individuals. Every person you look at; you can see the universe in their eyes, if you're really looking.” ― George Carlin
I'm glad I came across this. Recently I've been making a mental note of how many "dumbfucks" I encounter during my commute to and from work. It's a short 5 minute drive but I'm guaranteed at least 1 dumbfuck per day. It's amazing.
