I still remember the day that happened. Being a huge basketball fan, I woke up to see the breaking news of Kobe dying. I remember staring at a distance for so long after confirming it.

I was coaching my daughters basketball teams practice that morning. My assistant coach wasn’t there that morning but he called mid practice and told me. I couldn’t really focus the rest of practice and let the girls have fun.

His daughter just made it so much more tragic 😥
