I cooked ginger-grilled pork with an old Japanese army mess kit. I also use the same mess kit to cook rice. The garnish is shredded cabbage.
The sauce for the ginger grill is made with grated ginger, soy sauce, white dashi, mirin, and sake. Since this was an outdoor cooking, the pork was not marinated in the sauce, but was dipped in the sauce just before cooking.
It is one of the dishes that Japanese people love.
Outdoor cooking and outdoor cooking are the most delicious when they are prepared simply.

御飯のおかず定番の豚肉のしょうが焼きを飯盒で作りました。お米も炊いているので飯盒炊爨もです。焚き火で調理しているので焚き火料理でもあります。豚肉は豚肩ロース肉を使用しています。付け合せは千切りキャベツのみです。お米は2合炊いています。一食分です。
ショウガ焼きのタレは、すりおろした生姜、お醤油、白だし、みりん、日本酒で作っています。隠し味程度にきび砂糖を入れていますが動画にはありません。お好みで入れるやつなので。
飯盒の上蓋に木の枝で作った自作ハンドルを取り付け、フライパンにして豚肉を焼いています。このため、豚肉は一口サイズというか食べやすい大きさにカットしています。
豚生姜焼きだと白ご飯たくさん食べられますね。タレでしんなりした千切りキャベツも甘みがあって美味しいです。
野外料理、アウトドア料理は、こういう簡単なやつが一番美味しいですね。
