Still on just the tip chapter. I'm not moving ahead just yet as I want to master each step. But I still watch these RU-vid videos, the work that the hammer does with such light taps is just amazing . You think hey that's hard metal I need to wack it pretty good but nope. It's just weird how such a lite source of pressure moves the dent around.

Yes. At www.realworldpdr.com I just posted a huge door dent that I use this same technique, but use glue pulling instead.

now that panel detensioners are available, would you reduce the tension in the dent with that? Also, 4 years later now, would you do this dent differently now?

Mohave a gnarly dent and its going to cost me $1000 to have it fixed using PDR techniques...I want to repair it myself...I dont have a tool like you have but I have that hammer...its not as bad as this dent and the guy said it will take him 6-7 hours to get the dent out and said I will still have some ripples in it...the dent isn’t that major either.
