This is my favorite simple breakfast meal that was inspired by The Medical Medium. He says bananas are the liver's favorite food, so this meal incorporates delicious ways for you to get more bananas in to your diet.
Green Smoothie (1 Serving):
1 banana frozen
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 Tablespoon Almond Butter
2 handfuls of spinach (You won't taste the greens, thanks to the bananas!)
1/2 cup of water
Blend
Berry Oats:
1/2 cup raw rolled oats (not quick oats or steel cut oats)
Fresh berries of your choice
Banana slices
Cinnamon and raisins
Banana milk: place half of a frozen or fresh banana in blender with 1/2 cup water and blend.
Pour over your oats and enjoy!
