Chinatown was actually looks great from a street perspective. I'm sure if a talented modder could properly mod the game they could probably manage a really good well designed street view version of the game if they tried.

Playing GTA: CW and 4, it's amazing to see how similar the map are and the attention to details.

Lol, I used to wonder if Chinatown Wars was just that small Chinatown portion of the GTA III map.

I would still prefer the Top view of GTA Chinatown wars XD And also for those people who talk shit about this game just because of the graphics Sure you are right the graphics may be a little bit bad but for me is satisfying And you Don't just have to look at the physical appearance you also have to look at the inner state on what it really has That's why This Game is Underrated the game has less popularity but has a great Thing of it People today are ignorant Just following on what their eyes or their entertainment desire to play

everyone be hating on chinatown wars only because of the graphics, yall dont have any taste in a good game. just because it wasnt being hyped just like the other GTA's , doesnt mean its a bad game in my opinion its one of the best GTA's, sure the graphics are not really good ( i played it on nintendo ds), but it just all fits together so perfect. it has a good soundtrack, a fucking amazing , funny story an most important its the only GTA, where you can look into trash cans to find food, money or even weapons. its the only GTA where you can deal drugs, its a fucking amazing drug dealing system. there are a lot of drug dealers on the map, you can either make profit or lose a lot of money. sometimes dealers send you a message where they say that they sell their heroin for a cheap price, you buy it and then you can either wait for a drug dealer who is willing to pay a lot for your heroin or you can simply sell it to any dealer in the city. you can stash your drugs in your appartment. sometimes cops will chase you down for drug dealing so you have to shake em off by crashing them into walls, its hella fun doing this. you can deal with cocaine, heroin, ecstasy, LSD, Valium and weed. this game has a lot of good "minigames", like when you steal a car you have to hotwire it and shit, there are 3 different hotwire modes. almost everything has to be done with little minigames, its so fucking amazing. the story is a mixture of a very deep story and a comeic, sometimes there are just hilarious dialogues. i like to play this game when im stoned, when i read the dialogues i have my own voices in my head, its just perfect. everyone who hates this game either is a fucking kid who dont has any taste in good video games, or is just someone who doesnt even played it. its one of my favourite GTA's!!! 1. GTA SA / Vice City ( both are just perfect) 2. CHINATOWN WARS 3. GTA 5 4. GTA 4 trust me, just play it its fucking awesome

GTA IV takes place in two cities, GTA CW has only Liberty.

Looking at the maps together at the beginning, that main thing I noticed was how different Bohan looks. They squished that little park in the northwest.

Chinatown weapons and game play is better GTA 4 graphics and physics are better

I didn't know that CW's Liberty City was actually GTA 4's Liberty City but without Alderney Island & with some landscape changes(most of the sloppy & curved roads become flat & straight, no complex flyover bridges & tunnels at the main roads/freeways, some of the wide roads become narrower, railway tracks are moved aside on the pavements, no small hills & cliffs)

tbf i never missed the "third island" (actually a serparate state from liberty) because i always found alderney very bland and disapointing considering it doesnt reflect any different culture like San Fierro and Las Venturas do compared to Los Santos. Which it should considering New Jersey is at least a little different compared to New York

Will Rockstar Norths target was to make the game for Nitendo Switch and DS. So the Nitendo Switch is from a 3rd person view console. So when Rockstar Leeds went into Rockstar North HD Universal 2008 Liberty City Map. They had to do some sketches and changes. So since this was the first gta game to have a Chinese Protonaganst. So they rescketched the 2 Islands of HD Liberty City, based off of Chinese Art. Since the game is called Chinatown Wars and we play as Chinge Protonaganst and work for Triad Boss Wu Kenny Lee. So probably due to lack of space and storage on Nitendo they only used the 2 islands. It's instrumental because due to limited RAM or Storage on Nitendo. Rockstar North couldn't add voices to the main characters. So it's only subtitle. Rockstar North did use the original grand theft auto IV street/pedestrian dialog. All songs are just music. So Rockstar Games later released the game for IOS/Androide IPHONE/IPAD/TABLET PC, WINDOWS Lap Top since it was a good storyline in all that. Thus could he a reason, I'm not sure the Rockstar crew knows the real reason.
